Karma's A Biotch

Lafayette POV
I went towards Peggy. My heart stopped as I held her hand. We could have almost lost her.
"Mi amour." I whispered to myself.
I don't think Hercules heard it because he didn't question anything. I could feel my tears rolling down my face, so I decided to take a walk outside. I strolled around the hospital until I made it to the front desk and a man who looked pretty beat up walked in. The man collapsed as he walked through the doors, and I rushed towards him along with a few nurses. The man was James Reynolds. The doctors quickly got him onto a gurney and pushed him away. Another man followed in after Reynolds. He was out of breath and holding a woman's bag, Peggy's bag. He went to the front desk and said that Reynolds ran in front of his car,that man was Samuel Seabury, a person who spoke his mind too much. I walked back upstairs to Peggy's room. She was awake and alive with Hercules talking to her.
"Hey I just saw James Reynolds, he got hit by a car." I said as I entered the room chuckling.
Peggy's eyes widened and she had a certain look of fear in her eyes. Her heart monitor started to get faster as Peggy began to hyperventilate.
"Shh calm down." Hercules said calmly rubbing Peggy's head.
I rushed over to Peggy and held her hand.
"Reynolds was the one that hurt Peggy-" Hercules said quietly to me.
I got angry, like I wanted to flip a table (literally me everyday) I rushed out of the room to the receptionist.
"What room is James Reynolds in?" I questioned.
"He just got out of surgery, and he is in room 1758."
I sprinted towards the elevator to Reynolds room.
I then ran down the hall to his room, his door was open and he had a breathing tube in his nostrils.
"Wake up Dick head." I said banging his bed frame.
He sat up "oh isn't it nice to have a visitor?" He said scoffing and then crossing his arms.
"Visitor my ass. What the hell did you do to Peggy."
"Nothing French Fry-"
"Look I don't need your smart as remarks. What did you do to Peggy." I wanted to jump on his bed and bitch slap him so hard.
"I needed money. She was right there."
"So you stabbed her?"
"She's a fighter."
I scoffed and crossed my arms. Reynolds always try's to play the victim and pretends to be all cute and innocent.
"Why are you here?" I questioned.
"I looked back and ran into the road, I got hit by a car."
I chuckled "Karma's a bitch. You got what you deserved."
"Yeah right Mr."I can't get a girl""
That's when I really wanted to bitch slap him.
"Yeah Maria told me about your little affair. I didn't think you had that in you." He said raising an eyebrow, making it seem like a big deal.
I left his room I didn't want my anger to get the best of me. So I went back to Peggy's room. Hamilton, John and the Sisters were all surrounding Peggy. I could tell Peggy was getting uncomfortable, with all these people surrounding her and looking at her in one of her worst times. So I said that everyone should let Peggy get her rest. I grabbed my phone and heard Peggy say something
"Hey Laff."
"Yeah?"
"Thanks for staying with me, you're such a good friend." She said smiling. That's the first time I've seen her smile today.
I smiled and looked down (innocently)
Youch I've been friend zoned. I grabbed my bag and was about to head out
"Hey Laff?"
"Yeah Mi Amour?"
"Can you stay with me? I don't wanna be all alone." She said again smiling.
I smiled back, and put my bag on the chair next to her bed. I got in her bed and snuggled with her in the tiny hospital bed. She fell asleep in my arms. She was so peaceful, so perfect, so beautiful. I love her so much. I don't want anyone to hurt her. I eventually fall asleep with Peggy snuggled close to my chest. I had a weird feeling in my stomach, but I liked it. This was nice. Peggy and I. I could feel myself smile as I fell asleep.
