Chapter 18

"Where is the fair here anyway?" Cody asked as we were driving there. "Basically like 5 minutes from Sarah's house." Arianna said.

"Take the next left and we're in the back parking lot." I said to Cody's driver. "Will do ma'am." the driver said. "And we're here." Julie said smiling as she was about to get out.

"Please ladies allow me." Cody said getting out and opening the door on the other side. "Why thank you." Arianna said getting out followed Julie.

But Cody made extra sure to help me get out by grabbing my hand and helping me out the limo. Why'd he do that, I thought to myself.

So we walked in and got our tickets as we headed inside. Surprisingly Cody paid for all of our unlimited ride bracelets which is extremely generous since they're like $10 apiece.

"You didn't have to do that Cody." I said. "Please anything for you." he said smiling. "So where to first?" Arianna asked. "Swings!" Julie said in excitement.

So like the way it usually goes they're in line and I'm on the outside holding their jackets and what not. But you know since Cody came with us things were a little different. "Aren't you coming on Sarah?" Cody asked.

"I guess not." I said. "Well why not?" Cody asked me. "Please Cody don't waste your time she's afraid of heights she wouldn't go on this thing if her life depended on it." Julie said.

"You could be a little nicer you know Julie." Arianna said. "Next please." the worker guy said. "That's us." Julie said excitedly.

"You two go ahead on I think I'm going to stay off with Sarah." Cody said getting out of line. "Suit yourself." Arianna said as they got on the ride.

"You know you could have gone on Cody I'm used to standing here by myself, I mean it happens every year." I said.

"Well where I come from leaving a girl by themselves is just wrong." Cody said smiling. "I thought where you come from surfing and swimming is all that mattered." I said with a laugh.

"You have the nicest laugh." Cody said. "Thanks." I said smiling. "And the nicest smile." Cody said. Whoa what's happening here is he trying to flirt with me, I thought to myself.
