"Why are you in LA?" Adam asked me. "For vacation and to visit Cody but that's not really needed anymore." I said using all my will power to not start crying so hard right there in front of Adam.

"What's wrong with you, have you been crying?" Adam asked examining me closer. "Just leave me alone Adam." I said.

"Aw what's the matter Mr. down under got you down?" Adam asked jokingly. "Yeah actually he does." I said." Whoa you didn't even correct me, is everything alright with the two of you?" Adam asked.

"Not really." I said as tears started flowing out my eyes almost gracefully. "Whoa you’re crying, did the two of you break up or something?" Adam asked.

"Yeah, we did." I said as I sort of fell into a hug from him. "You know I hate seeing someone cry in public, can I take you somewhere?" he asked.

"I guess so." I said in between tears. "Do you think you have the strength to walk?" Adam asked. "Adam I'm crying not dying I'll be fine." I said smiling a bit.

"Sorry I'm not really used to girls crying unless it's because I dumped them." Adam said. "Wow for a second there you weren't being a total jerk and now look you're back." I said.

"Right sorry, well Sarah welcome to my beach." Adam said. "There's no one here Adam." I said. "Exactly." Adam said.

"Well why'd you bring me here?" I asked. "To show you that the entirety of LA doesn't revolve around celebrities." Adam said.

"And this is supposed to help me how, wait is that a surfboard?" I asked pulling him towards the board lying on the sand.

"Yeah it's my board actually." Adam said. "I didn't know you surfed." I said. "There are a lot of things you don't know about me Sarah." Adam said smiling.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked him. "Because you are I swear your smile is like contagious or something." Adam said. "Yeah sure okay." I said laughing. "You surf?" Adam asked.

"I wish, I mean I've always wanted to learn just never had the time or the money for lessons." I said looking at Adam's board in amazement.

"I could teach you, how long are you going to be in LA?" Adam asked. "The whole week." I said. "That's plenty of time." Adam said. "Are you sure I mean I couldn't pay you like at all." I said.
