Chapter 24

So after we ate we went to the arcade, some fun houses, and rode so many more rides. All of that took a lot longer than we thought because by the time we were too tired to have any more fun it was closing time.

So I called my brother and asked him how we were getting home, that meaning if Julie's mom was going to drive of us or one of his friend's moms were going to drive us. After thinking about it we had his best friend Luke's mom take us home.

Luke was the guy who first came up to him and called me the very attractive Ms. Sarah Peterson. "So Sarah who'd you hang out with at the fair today?" Luke asked me on the way back to our house.

Thank goodness he's not spending the night I mean don't get me wrong Luke's a lot of fun and really good friends with my brother but you can get tired of him pretty easily if you haven't known him your whole life.

To be honest I'm surprised my brother hasn't dumped him yet. But if there's something awesome about my brother it's that his really tolerant of people of course unless you piss him off then that's a different story.

"Here we are Casa de Peterson." Mrs. Jackson said trying to be funny like usual. "Thanks for the ride Mrs. Jackson goodbye." I said getting out the car.

"Bye Mrs. Jackson, later Luke." Cameron said giving Luke a bro handshake and getting out the car. "It's almost midnight how are Mom and Dad still up?" I asked Cameron as we went inside noticing a lot of lights were on.

"Mom, Dad, we're home!" Cameron said loudly hoping for a reply. "Kitchen!" Mom said calling from the kitchen. "Hey guys it's almost midnight what are you two still doing up?" I asked my mom as we entered the kitchen.

"Well we were waiting for you two." Dad said. "We're not in trouble are we?" Cameron asked. "Well that depends," Mom said. "On what?" I asked.

"Can you give us an explanation why he's here?" Mom said pointing to Cody sitting in the dining room eating cereal. "Hey guys!" Cody said half waving then going back to his cereal.
