Diego's POV
"Yeah okay I'll tell you tomorrow." I quickly talk into the phone before hanging up. Steven is still questioning me as to why I'm staying after school for no reason. The mere thought of it gets my jaw ticking and my fists clenching. I kick a nearby bottle and the empty halls echo.
They want to hurt her. As if I'm going to let them just like that. I hear footsteps and turn around scanning the empty halls. No one's there so I walk faster to check once again.
"Let's go Kevin." Zack hisses and I hide behind a corner. My back is against a wall and I withhold my breath. They mumble something inaudible and my blood starts boiling. Zack and Kevin exit the building from the back door and I quickly follow from behind.
Hiding by a dumpster, just the sight of them makes me want to kill them both. They start talking and I can't hear clearly so I move in closer and that's when I knock off several boxes.
"Looks like we've got ourselves some company." Kevin smirks. I step out shooting them daggers and occasionally the middle finger.
"Shit," Zack curses. "This guy is always there to disrupt our plans."
"Plans to drug her? Oh I'm sorry if I want to stop that from happening!" I shout and my fists clench.
"How the fuck do you know!" Kevin sneers and approaches me. I don't wait for a second, they're not hurting her as long as I'm here. I swing a punch straight for his jaw and Kevin yelps in pain. Zack runs up but stops dead in his tracks when he remembers our little meeting at the party.
"Oh you're gonna be sorry." Kevin argues and I smirk. He places a kick and I swiftly block it. Next he catches me off guard and plants a fist to my jaw causing me to stumble over.
"Fuck you! Not the face!" A girly voice shouts and Kevin falls to the ground unconscious.
"Princessa?" I stare at her in awe. "Where the hell did you find a bat?" She's holding a metal bat!
"What? Softball department is nearby." She shrugs and turns to face Zack with a mischievous grin. She rests the bat on her shoulder and walks up to him slowly swaying her hips. Holy shit she looks good doing that. Placing the top of the bat on the ground she leans on it and remarks, "You're next."
"Run." She whispers and he scoffs at her. I approach from behind and Zack slowly starts moving to get away. He's outnumbered and Elena has a bat, if he thinks he's standing a chance...especially with a crazed monkey princessa, he's dead wrong.
"I said run bitch!" Elena gallops to him in three long strides and then stops whilst he runs out of the alley and into the street. She turns around to me and frowns. "You're hurt."
"It's nothing big." I sigh and she pulls my arm towards her bike.
"You're telling me what happened Diego and if you don't well then I've still got the bat." She smirks and revs up the engine sending us off down the street.

"Is this necessary?" I sigh at the first aid box in her hands and she nods seriously.
"Sit down." She pulls my arm down to sit on her bed and sighs. "Why were you fighting those bastards?"
"No reason I just happened to be there and they started the fight." I lie and she purses her lips.
"Don't lie to me." Elena warns and dabs some alcohol on my jaw causing me to hiss in pain.
"I can't tell you." I clench my fists and she sighs nodding. No bat, no prying me to answer. She understands.
