Elena's POV
I shift around a little bit before realsing that I can't shift anymore. Something's holding me in place or should I say someone.
I look up at a sleeping Diego. Carefully caressing his cheek and then moving down slowly to his lips. I smile at him before checking the time, 5:37. Great, I need food. Don't ask why, food is simply what to do when you're bored. And besides whoever says they're not hungry between 2-6am is a liar!
Gently lifting Diego's arm off of me and replacing my body with a pillow I get off the bed. Thank goodness I had half a brain to buy a pretzel for things like this. Well actaully it's Diego's, I ate mines on the way home. Oh well, his fault for not eating it sooner.
I grin at my prey before devouring almost half.
"Princessa?" Diego squints his eyes and I pause my eating. I open my full mouth to speak and I can't because it's crammed, so attractive Elie! Having some deceny I bring a hand up to it and continue chewing while Diego chuckles at my cave woman instincts. "What time is it?"
"Fif thaty sethen." Is all I come up with given the circumstances.
"I'm sorry what?" He brings a hand to his ear and smirks.
"Fif thaty sethen!" I say louder than before and he furrows his eyebrows.
"Can't hear you." Diego laughs and I throw his phone at him. I'm not risking breaking mine. "Oh 5:37"
"Stupid. I lost a few brain cells just by looking at you." I stick my tongue out at him and he just shakes his head at my lady like manners. Sorry boy but we ain't at a grand palace. We're in a hotel room, I'm a little crazy, get used to it.
"Can I have some?" He asks looking at his half eaten pretzel and I nod giving him the rest. What can i say I'm generous now applaud me.
"I want something to drink." I think out loud and rummage through the mini fridge. Taking out some vodka to reach the coke Diego jumps from his seat.
"No way in hell am I letting you drink this in the morning." He puts it back inside and I point to the coke. "Oh, okay."
Opening the bottle I chug down the liquid in a big gulp before Diego speaks up, "Leave some for me will you?"
I sigh passing him the bottle, "You're sharing my pretzel and my coke, what's next?"
"I'd like to point out that this is my pretzel and knowing you I'm probably paying for the coke when we check out as well." He gives me a pointed look and I smile sweetly.
I flop onto bed and grab some glasses nearby, Diego's glasses more precisely. "How can you see in these?" I ask tilting my head sideways and flipping upside down on the bed while he just sits there chuckling. "You're vision is really fucked up you know."
"Maybe but I only have eyes for the things I want." He smirks.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I inquire, furrowing my eyebrows and raising a couple of fingers to count.
"Nothing princessa," Diego sighs. "Want to watch a movie for the remainder of the time or are you going back to sleep?"
"Chick flick." I grin at him snatching the remote as he climbs into bed next to me. Taking off his glasses from my face he gives me a sheepish smile.
"I know better than to protest." He laughs.
"Good boy." I smirk.
"I think you meant to say bad boy." Diego corrects me and I tilt my head to the side.
