Chapter Sixteen

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

       It's Monday and I just can't with life. I did my morning routine and headed out. I didn't see Alex on the way to school so I just figured that I would see him at lunch.

      I walked to school and made my way to first period. And by first period I meant the  first hour of sleep. First hour changed to second hour and second hour changed to fifth. Good thing that the teachers at Hellgate High didn't teach anything. I walked to the cafeteria and looked around for Alex. I didn't see him. I got my food and sat down. Many of the students were giving me weird looks. I waited for Kitty.

      Kitty walked up and sat down. She looked around.

"So, you're popular now."

"I don't know if I'd call it popular, considering everyone only wants to ask me what happened rather than just talk to me."

"Eh, fame is fame."

"Sure. Have you seen Alex?"

"No, why? Is he okay?"

"Well I don't know, that's why I asked if you've seen him."

"I'm sure he's just staying home."

"I don't know, his dad or whoever it was yelled at him last night while he was on the phone with me. He sounded really pissed, but I don't know why."

"Do you think it has to do with the post?"

"Shit I didn't even think about that."

"Well I mean it would make sense. His dad found out that his son "kissed" another guy. His dad being homophobic got pissed off."

"How do you know that."

"I don't, just guessing."

     The bell rang.

"Well I suppose it is a good guess. I'll talk to you later."

"Yep, byeeeee."

"Byeeee."

      I walked to my next hour of sleep, and then the next. God I loved sleep. It was just a place of safety and calm. Sometimes it can be scary but in consciousness you're fine. I could be getting chased by a serial killer but I would actually be safe in my bed. Well bed or class considering I sleep through school. Ugh I hope Alex is okay, I can't get him out of my head.
