The "Best" Friends: Book 1

Chapter 8 - This Plane Will Not Be Leaving, Thank You

Finally! The plane was ready to be boarded.

H, Jimmy, Emilia, Carly, Pearl, Tea Party, TicToc, Bob and Gidget all handed their tickets to one of the air hostesses and boarded the plane. It was big and barely any people were onboard. The chairs were made out of cushioned leather and the pull out tables in front were made of hard plastic.

Each of them took their seats and waited for the doors to close. They watched as the air hostess did the demonstrations of what to do in the event of a crash. Then, waited for the plane to take off.

Pearl, Tea Party and TicToc sat together. They decided to have a drawing challenge by drawing competition. They all signed their names at the bottom.
"Wow! Cool signature, TicToc!" Chirped Tea Party.
"Wadda ya mean?" TicToc asked, in return.
"The way you wrote your name at the bottom of the paper!" Replied Pearl.
"Uh.. that's my normal handwriting.." TicToc said, offended. Pearl and Tea Party looked at each other.
"Oops.." they said in unison. TicToc stared at them for about 10 minutes after that.

Jimmy, Emilia and Carly were all sitting together (H sat behind with his parents, reluctantly). Carly was sitting on the outside, Jimmy was in the middle and Emilia was at the window. Carly shoved Jimmy into Emilia trying to make them kiss, but Emilia shoved Jimmy back up. He was stuck.
"Uh, guys?" He said, "You do realize that you're squishing me, right?" The two girls stopped. "Thank you."

The speakers came on, and the pilots voice was all that could be heard.
"The plane will now be leaving, thank you." He said. He had a Spanish accent, but it sounded like he said, "This plane will not be leaving, thank you," in an Indian accent.

H sat up as high as possible, and leaned over to his friends and Carly before saying, "Did he say, the plane will now, or will not, be leaving?"
Carly shrugged, "I dunno.."
"Well, I'm pretty sure he can't just keep us here forever," replied Emilia. Jimmy nodded. He seemed to do that a lot, actually.

Before they knew it, the plane took to the sky. Emilia was right.

Hi guys! I hoped you liked this chapter. There isn't an actual episode for this, because it's based off the end of Episode 6. Comment if you want me to leave the episode below. Although, you could still always go back to Chapter 6. I know it was short, but you have no idea what it's like trying to write about being in an airoplane.
Also, I'm from the UK, we don't say airplane, there's an o in the middle.
