Opal kept on walking, her feet probably full of blisters by now. Luckily she had packed a few big T-shirts along, in case the twins were to have an accident throwing up or something. Opal started walking through the woods until she encountered a small tree house and a part of land that wasn't too burdened with trees. She climbed up and knocked on the front door. Nobody answered. The door was unlocked too. Opal opened it up and there was many broken pieces of the roof and plenty of bugs. Gross. Well, she didn't really have a choice now did she. Opal pushed the sharp wood pieces aside and fell asleep quickly on the floor. It was so cold, but maybe her freezing to death would hopefully cover up the pain...

The sun show through the crooked wood pieces as she woke up. The beams of sun warm and her back sore as she woke up. Since this place pretty much looked long abandoned by the owner, she claimed to be the new one. She had some money in the bag, but probably not enough to get all the building supplies. She would have to steal some glue, a hammer, and a box of nails. Stealing big planks of wood wouldn't be so easy. Opal put a baseball cap on and her hair in a bun. It would probably be a good idea to steal a hoodie as well. Good thing her T-shirt was really loose on her an she was pretty thin herself.

Later on that day, after Opal had everything she was going to do planned out she followed a nearby pathway out of the woods to a gas station almost nobody went to anymore. Opal walked in with her head down, keeping her face away from the cameras. To be honest the cameras were starting to crack, and like hell the people of the store would watch them all day. Although she was only 13 she had a more mature face and was pretty short. People always saw her as a 8 year old at youngest. she turned around the corner and saw a cleaning cart in the corner. Bingo. Exactly where a hammer would possibly be. Opal stole almost every item in the cart, a hammer, scissors, a few towels here and there etc. Opal walked a bit more around and snuck some snacks and water. She had to buy something in order to not look suspicious so she bought a box of nails and battery's. She walked out of the store no questions further asked by the person over the counter. Relief passed her face. Opal ran as fast as she could back to the forest and emptied all her stuff in the house, and started to work on it, making it look live-able.

Eventually few years passed and Opal had collected many things for the tree house and crafted some furniture. She also made a bookshelf out of fallen branches, and started to carve drawings on the wall to keep her busy. Eventually though that became boring and she started to climb trees. Now 15 she decided starting a job would be best to make some (cash money ;)))) lol i'm sorry) spare cash in case she needed it. So she took a job at the gas station she always stole from, cause that was the closest place there was. $9 an hour seemed pretty ok for a first job I guess, but luckily Opal was lucky enough to find a home that doesn't need to have rent paid for. Yes, she still kept stealing from the store it's a bad habit, but it's a necessity for survival. Once she started to save up she went to the book store and bought all different kinds of book teaching how to build and program robots, and also different books to learn different languages. She saved up enough money to get a flip phone at the least, because she didn't want to waste as much money. Eventually she got a wifi router and a laptop and started to program robots. Once Opal had turned 17 she successfully invented a robot. This robot was programmed to speak any and and all languages it heard being spoke. It was small and connected to your ear. This is when Opal started to get serious with things and finding her lost brothers. She at least had enough power to contacts the aliens that stole them. The only question is where exactly are they?
