Opal wakes up with light shining through her eyelids. She walks outside of her room to the living room and brushes her short white hair back out of her face. Yawning. she notices a note left on the coffee table. Supposedly from her room mate. The girl picks up the note to read it and be let in a bit of a panicked mood.
Dear Opal,
I went down to the capitol this morning. Sorry if I scared you by
leaving all of a sudden without proper notice. I'm down at the
capitol to gather a bit more information. My Ideal spot would be by
the front gates, and if you see me I might be undercover. My plan
is to smuggle a suit from one of the guards outside. Do not come, I don't
want you to get caught, you're looks stand out more to the people here.
-Casper
Opal looked at the small note in deep thinking. Should she go down to the capitol and attempt to steal a suit as well? Or should she stay home and worry for her friend the rest of the day, but guarantee her safety?
The girl grabbed a cape and headed out the door into the cold atmosphere. She let out puffs of her warm breath as she warmed her cupped her hands over her lips. 'Here goes nothing'. She half ran and half slid down the tall hill they were on, getting cold snow in her cape and in her hair. Once she reached the bottom her hair felt frozen and mushy like. She brushed off all the snow she could and headed through the busy streets. Here, she would easily be mistaken for a child because of her small figure. Sliding past the tall figures surrounding her she eventually found her way to the middle of the busy streets. Looking up and searching for the capitol she spotted the tall shining building. Walking faster she slipped and bumped into a tall unknown creature. The creature didn't handle it in the best way and started to violently swings it's four arms towards the small girl. Running even faster now Opal turned a corner to hide from the insane creature. The creature ran past the two buildings Opal hid between and after a minute Opal went back into the streets and kept walking towards the capitol, a steadier pace this time.
Walking up the long staircase towards the capitol, she hid behind a tree to observe the tall main building. Looking closely she saw two guards at front. One of the guards was wearing goggle and was at least seven feet tall. The other guard was about a foot shorter with goggles and wavy white hair. Wait. Opal remembered the note she had read from the coffee table. Casper said his plan was to be guarding at the front door right? That did look like him after all. Opal slid down underneath the bridge towards the front door and ran to the other side. She started to climb up to where the guards were and had her eye on the taller guard. If she had enough of a head start and speed she could push him off the bridge and the smuggle his suit... but that would look a bit suspicious no? Opal decided after a good ten minutes to take it safely and go search for another guard that would be easier to tackle. The girl looked around, face covered with the over sized cloak, and eventually spotted a different soldier. This solder was female and about a foot taller than Opal, considered pretty short here then. Opal hid behind the guard and took a piece of her cloak and gripped tightly on each end to make the fabric strong ans sturdy. She jumped out from the tree and wrapped the fabric around the face of the guard. The guard started to kick her feet and didn't exactly miss Opal. Getting kicked in the stomach several times, anger took the girl over as she tightened the grip of the fabric wrapped around her prey's face. The soldier lost strength and eventually laid still on the floor. Opal dragged her to the bottom of the bridge and started to switch their clothes.
Opal cuffed up the sleeves and the bottoms of the one piece suit. She then slid up the thigh high boots. She took the sleeve of bullets and tossed it over one shoulder so that it crossed her torso She took the crown from the guard and observed it. It looked familiar to the one she saw her brother wearing, a champagne color with red wire flowing through it. Except, her brothers crown didn't have goggles connected to them. She took the ID of the guard and copied the females fingerprint with the help of Udo. Opal thanked the little robot as she tossed on the rest of the gear. 'Nice' She thought, observing the high tech gun. There was also a sword with the same red wire that was in the crown. The shape of the weapon was odd, but there was no doubt it would cause a lot of damage. She slid the sword in the sleeve on her side and places the crown on her head. The read wire in the crown lit up even brighter and she copied the fingerprint into the device. She then put the goggles on, that pushed her short white hair out of her face, and headed on her way.
Heading towards the front door she attempted to run right past the two guards. She smiled at Casper when she passed by and waited inside for him to follow. After a few minutes did Casper recognize the girl and step inside the doors. "What are you doing here?! I told you not to come, you're going to get noticed Opal!" Opal quickly cupped her hands over the boys mouth and leaned in. "I WILL get noticed if you keep shouting my name, yes. My name isn't Opal right now. According to my ID my name is Innara Nova, and I'm of age. What's your name?" Casper took out his ID and read it out loud to her. "My name is Blythe Nao, and I'm very old. I don't think this age is even humanly possible..." Opal laughed lightly and coughed through laughs. "Ok Grandpa, not time to be solving equations." She looked back up at Casper with a serious face this time. Her teammate that was going through this mission with her. There was only one sentence she had to say to officially engage into reality.
"Let's do this."
