Looking Far

Opal had invented a robot that spoke any and all languages. She was coming up with a name but had no ideas so chose random letters out of a book. "Udo." that seemed fit for the robot. Short and easy to call to it. The robot had taught her many languages already, and Opal had piked up on it quickly. She always was a fast learner after all, her brain was a sponge. She attached the robot to her ear and searched up some information that may lead to her brothers' location. It was hard since she didn't know which people were making it up or not. She eventually created a graph that measured out an area in space and looked everywhere in that location. Opal still remembered clearly where the spacecraft's direction went and exact angle. There.

Opal saw far away from space a gigantic planet, so colorful, possible there's many lights on it. "Information on planet is undetected." Udo informed Opal. Udo flew off of Opal's ear and asked if it could see through the telescope. The little robot zoomed in as far as he could to only see what seemed like floating transportation. Udo also spotted a billboard sign with a completely different language on it. The writing looked like roman numerals but way more complicated. The robot took pictures of many billboards, although the pictures were a bit blurry. "Get anything Udo?" Opal asked, looking at the still statue like robot, overheating. "Processing..." The robot said looking over the shots it took. "I have picked up on some of the language," the robot informed, connecting itself to a printer to copy the photos. "Please do teach me wheat you know of the language Udo," Opal asked politely. "Why of course Opal, your wish is my pleasure." Udo spent the rest of the day teaching opal how to write and speak the language, and the proper grammar used there as well. They practiced by communicating to each other back and forth.
The language wasn't that different from Greek, but it was sharp and pronounce. You could speak it softly, but that would signal that you were weak, and there that's the worse to be presented as on that planet. Udo looked up some information and found myths about this planet. The name of it wasn't confirmed, but it described an idea of what the people looked like. The creatures there were terrifying in word description, but both of them were hoping for not such a harsh scare.

The creatures of this planet have long dark lashes, with clothing that defies gravity, sharp tails full with scales that feel like blades, Demon-like red eyes that look into your soul. they stand at tall heights towering over you and making you shiver from their cold stare. They breathe fire out of their moths like dragons and are so muscular every vein in their body pops out.

And that was all the blog said. Not much information but Opal and Udo both thought it was pretty in-acurate. It's almost impossible for that to happen genetically...either way Opal would go there and rescue her brothers', alive of not. Just to apologize in person. She would never forgive herself from that one small mistake that flipped her whole life upside down. I mean look. She's probably going insane from not having much social interaction except for with a robot. People wouldn't believe a single word she said, and it's not like they ever did. She would always tell back at the orphanage her brothers haven't been fed, but the people lied and said they already did because they were too lazy to take care of the children. They could have honestly cared less when Opal and her two brothers were there. Parent's didn't want to adopt three children altogether. Opal would always yell "If you're going to take my brother's, you're taking me too!" And saying that, it was also difficult for half blind babies to even be considered adopted, considering the extra care they needed. Opal thought now maybe it would've been better if she let people adopt her brothers to ensure them safety, since that wasn't that strong with her. I mean, it would be better than knowing her brothers aren't even on earth anymore. But, she was young and dumb then. She regretted it so much. It brought her pain everyday that came rolling knowing it was all her fault, each day she doesn't get to see her brothers.

But that was going to change.
