Still Ash's POV

"How do you know my name?"

ZZZT ZZT ZZZZZT DOOR CLOSING

Ash looks up at the top of the spiral stairs. Ash I can't keep the door open for much longer, start heading back while you can, Aspen is clearly struggling with the door. Yeah, I'm coming up now... Ash responds. He takes one last good look of the prisoner and then heads up the stairs. Halfway up the stairs Ash heard the captive claim to be his sister. He stops.

Broken between two decisions. To believe something that's only a belief, or to keep living his life like it is every day? Hurry up Ash, you're going to get locked in, Aspen is now attempting to pull the door open from half way. Ash hurried up the stairs to his brother. In the end he made a decision to stick with his family that was confirmed. Ash hurriedly comes out of the cage room and jumps beside his brother. "Anything go on?" Aspen asked, hoping this hacking of the door wasn't for nothing. "She was saying some weird stuff Aspen. She already knew my name. Is she a sorceress from a different world? How did she know my name if I live on a totally different planet?" Aspen looks at Ash and then back to the floor thinking hard. "Well, she's definitely not a sorceress because she can't use magic. She's only human like us, but we have technology that makes us superior. Lady Leatha seems to be hiding what planet she originally came from so we don't look further into it. Maybe she picked your name up from someone calling you in the castle?" Aspen struggles to find the right puzzle pieces.

Ash looks back at Aspen with a shocked look. "But, Aspen they don't use my real name when they call me. You know it's the servant and then their assigned number, did you forget?" Aspen starts to panic "OMAYGAWD I FORGOT SOMETHING?!" Aspen starts to count numbers with his hands over and over again. "Something's off," Aspen comes to the conclusion. This prisoner wasn't just ordinary. What if what she was saying was actually true? Could it be? "Aspen I get the feeling we have to help her escape. I don't think she's safe here. If she was smart enough to contact us like the rumors said, then she might get killed...or even worse tortured for the rest of her life."

Aspen runs down to the control room with his brother. "Can you hack into the cage? At least breach the window open," Ash mentions looking for the right switch with his brother. "Ah, here it is," Aspen hesitates for a second. "Even if we are wrong and she's lying, we're still saving a life and that's all that matters. Right?" Ash smiles back at his brother. "Of course, and don't you doubt yourself." Aspen switches the latch down and the camera catches the moment when the window shield breaks. The prisoner looks up at the now open window, and around. The person held captive climbs up and through the window. She quickly fall out and the twins assumed that she latched on to the cliff.

Oh...the cliff.

They hadn't thought about that. Aspen deleted the footage so there were no traces. A guard walks in as they hide and he scouts through, checking the footage. "All clear," the soldier reports to the other group of soldiers outside the door. As soon as the guards go far away that's when Aspen and Ash rush out back to their dorm. They both crossed their fingers and hoped the best for the prisoner, and that she enjoyed her new stay here at this new planet.
