Farewells chapter 3

As night fallen another day arrived. I went into town to pick up my fathers suit. As this morning he still was packing. When he was all done packing he loaded everything on his horse as he said goodbye to me and my mother.
"Be safe father." I said.
"Don't worry Y/N protect your mother for me sweet heart." George got on his horse as he rode off.

Your p.o.v
"Luckily I had a plan. I dont care if it's illegal I'm going to spy on my dad during this war. Mother was also in it as well. She father was gone my mother got me one of father's work suits and she sat me down to fix my hair to make me look like one of the guys."

"Mother do you think this will work?" I said.
"Sweet heart don't worry they will think your a medic or that your a minute man." My mother said as she kissed me.
"But what about you?"
"I'll be fine my dear just please watch over your father."
" I will mother." I get on my horse as my mother gives me my bag.
I ride off to go to the camp where father is. I take a short cut threw town as I saw the tailor shop is all empty. That Hercules guy must have closed the shop. I keep riding on as I get to the camp.
"Okay I just need to go where the medics are and I'll be all fi-" I bump into someone who was tall."I'm so sorry I didn't mean to."
I look up and it was that Hercules guy.
He walks on as he looked like he was in a rush. Another man bumps into me.
"Sorry man I didn't see you there." A man who had freckles all over his face."My name is John Laurence"
"Uh hi my name is Y/N I mean M/N (m/n is male name)."
"Nice to meet ya I guess your one of the medics."
I shake my head."
"Well nice meeting you I'm in a rush so bye! Hercules wait up!" Laurence yelled. As I keep on walking I saw 2 people where the medic area is.
"Brother I told you not to go in the ivy." The woman said as she wrapped a bandage on his arm. She had a strong French accent.
"I thought they where a berry bush!" The brother said as he had a French accent.
"They didn't have berries on them you idiot! Shit we are out of bandages."
I spot some on the table as I give it to the girl.
"Here." I hand her the bandages.
"Oh thank you mon ami. I'm sorry we are causing a problem my idiotic brother got hurt."
"Its quite fine."
"Sorry to be rude but my name is Nattette de blac and this is my brother Nathaniel. My friends call me nat for sort."
"Nice to meet you my name is M/N Washington."
"I never knew Washington had a son?" Nathaniel said.
"I'm uh..his cousin!"
"Well then Y/N We should leave ya to your work thank you for the bandages. " Nat and Nathaniel leave as I get my stuff ready. All the troops rally up as we move out. I could see my father way ahead as that Hercules guy is behind him as Nat and Nathaniel follow as well as the other troops.
We now are off to fight a revolution.
