Last battle chapter 14

The battle of Yorktown was the last and final battle to end this war once and for all. My father and the rest had to move out to our next camp to get ready and stuff. Me and Hercules stayed close but I couldn't let my father see me and Herc  together or I would be dead.
"Well well well if it isn't the cutest couple in town." Nat said teasing.
"NAT SHH! Keep your voice down I can't let my father know that me and Hercules are dating or I'm dead." I said In a panic.
"Well it's not my fault your guys are so cute."
"Yeah Nats right you too do look cute together."Laurence says.
We finally arrived at the camp site. My father looked stress as we had to get all the ammunition he needed arm supplies that was necessary.  As I help my father pack I had so much on my mind.
"Father I'm gonna join the war and help you!" I said.
"Y/N no you are not gonna fight this is mans work. If something happened to you I don't know what I would do and your mother. Your my only child my daughter stay at the camp until this is all over."
"Father please I know how to aim a gun and such please!"
"No and that's a order from our father and General stay here or I'll have to send you back to your mother."
I stay silent for a moment.
"Stay here and don't run off!" My father leaves the tent as I follow as well to go in my tent. I was scared my heart was racing and I couldn't help but cry.
"Y/n are you alright?"
It was Hercules.
"I'm fine..." I said trying to stop crying and tearing up.
"I know your scared as so am I. I don't wanna leave you but we need to fight." Hercules says as he sat beside me."hey don't worry your father and I will be okay."
Hercules wipes the tears off my face. He kisses my forehead.
"Thanks Hercules for making me feel better." I said as I hugged him.
Hercule and I leave the tent as they where all ready to fight in a battle that can change history for our county.
As I watch my father leave with the other soldiers I pray to god that he will be safe as all of them will be as well.

               ~few days later~
The battle is still going on as I start to get worried for everything. What if my father was killed or something else. A man rides up near the camp site as he gets off.
"What happened to my father." I said.
"Your fathers fine,come quick this is very important." The man says. I get on his horse as he takes me to this open field. Men in red suits as my fathers men in the blue suits stand front of each other I see my father as he stands in front as another man does as well on the other side.
I see them shake hands as I was confused. My fathers men cheer.
"We won!" I said exited.
I started crying tears of joy. We made history holy shit!
The men where brought back into town as people where cheering. They chanted the world turned upside down in the streets. I tried to find Hercules.
"Hercules!" I yelled."Hercules!"
He wasn't there. No it can't be he can't  be dead.
"Y/N!" It was Hercules as he charge at me and he picked me up."we won!" He yelled.
I still cried tears of joys as I kissed him. I didn't want this moment to end at all.
I saw my father and mother as they cheered. Me and Hercules rushed to them. I hugged my father and mother.
"Thank god you 2 are safe." My mother said.
My mother and father saw me rush back to Hercules as he kissed me. Then everything stoped. My father just saw Hercules kiss me. But my father didn't attack Herc or me. He smiled at me as well as my mother. They where happy for me. As my father must have thought it was time to let me go and be who I am.
The world turned upside down that day  we made history.
