~1 weeks later~ When the snow started to melt I've been getting letters from Hercules telling me what was going on. What the British where up to and what my father was planing to do as well. Almost every day when I got his letter I keep them in a little small box under my bed. One day when I was feeding the horses my mom told me to come in the house this instant. She sat me down at the dinning room table. "Sweet heart this came in the male for you." My mother placed it on the table. It was a letter from Hercules as it had a small bag with it."care to explain." Shit! I thought to myself. I'm screwed. "Please mother what ever you do don't tell father. At the ball i meet up with the guy I told you a while ago Hercules. We danced together and stuff as we started getting closer. I wanted to tell him how I felt but before I knew it we where kissing. We've been sending letters to each other as I care for him. Just please don't tell father!" I begged. "Alright I won't tell your father nothimg just please be careful with him sweet heart." My mother said as she handed the letter to me. "Mother I'm 19 going to be 20 I'm fine plus he is a nice man." I walk into another room and open the letter and read what it said. "My dearest Y/N, Things have been ruff going back and fourth for both sides the British are gonna be coming to Yorktown as I need to get this to your father quick as I can. But for now I have stoped by many merchants picking up supplies and I got this just for you I hope you like it. But my love stay safe for all your matter as I'm alright for where I am now. Hope to see you again. Love, Hercules" I open the small bag that was with the letter and I was shock in what I saw.

Earrings. They look like they almost look like a thousand dollars. How did Hercules get there he must have paid a ton. I tried them on as they where beautiful. I showed my mother them.
