As I was watching William as Hercules went to work I got a letter in the mail as it was all in French it said.
"à la famille mulligan"(to the mulligan family) I read to myself. When I opened the letter I saw something heavy fall out as it was a Metal.
I continue to read to myself.
"mon cheri y/n,comme vous le savez peut-être nat a lutté pour la liberté de son pays, nous vous disons avec tristesse que a été abattu pendant la guerre à cheval, elle sera mise à l'avance. Comme vous le savez, elle était un chef fort comme son frère. Nous vous donnons son métal comme vous la famille la plus proche."
(My dearest y/n as you may know your friends Nat has been fighting for her country's freedom as we are sadly to say is that she was shot during the war on horseback as she now will be laid here til further notice, as you may know Nat was like her brother strong. We are giving u this metal of hers that was in her honor...) I stopped reading as I started to cry. My first friend I ever trusted was now dead. But now she will finally be with her brother in piece. I looked at her metal.
"Mommy what is that?" William says. I wiped the tears away as I took a deep breath.
"It's nothing sweet heart, how about you can get ready as we can go visit daddy at work.
"Yay!" William rushes off.
I stared at the medal as I go to my bedroom and place the medal and the letter on my night stand as I go get William.
