You were walking along the sidewalks of LA as you had your earbuds in, jamming out to your favorite song.

Walking to your destination or any destination for that matter was quicker than trying to drive through the hectic LA traffic. As you approached your favorite coffee shop, you got a call from your boyfriend Matthew.

"Hey babe! I'm about to order some coffee, would you like some? I can stop by the set." I said opening the door.

"Sure that would be great. Hey I was wondering if you'd be up for an adventure after we wrap up?" He asked.

"Um....sure...." you said suspiciously. Last time you all had an "adventure" you all were stuck on the side of the road because his car died while leaving a Halloween party. Let's just say Adam and Barbara from Beetlejuice didn't make it home for a little while that night.

After hanging up, you ordered both of your favorites and a couple of pastries.

When you got to set, you put your little lanyard on with a pass in it, clearing you to go on set without getting security involved.

As you made your way through the long hallways, you found Matthew watching as his coworkers and best friends AJ and Padgett did a seen.

You snuck through and got a quiet "hey" from Shemar. After chatting with him for a bit, you walked over to Matt with coffee and pastries in-tow.

"Hey babe!" You said quietly.

"Hey! Thanks...." he said taking the coffee and a pastry.

After a couple of sips he looked at you, his eyes sparkling.

"So where are we going on an "adventure" this time?" I asked using air quotes.

"Well if I told you it wouldn't be much of an adventure....or a surprise at that...." he said smirking.

"Ugh ok...." you said smiling.

"We better get gas before we head out though..." I said winking as I went to sit down.

He chuckled, remembering the Halloween incident two years ago.

You sat in his chair for a while, watching him do one of the things he loves with the cast mates he loves. You've been dating for 3 years and in two weeks it will be your anniversary celebrating yet another year with this "gube."

As you watched him act, you got drawn into the story and they seemed to be done filming in a flash.

"Ready to go y/n?" Matt asked.

"Yup! Let's go!" You said excitedly.

As you got into the passenger seat you reminded him to get gas.

After making a pit stop at the nearest station you all set out on a long road trip. The trip took about 2 hours and you started getting worried when you saw the sun setting.

"Are we lost Matt?" You asked.

"Nope. We'll be there in about 10 minutes." He said looking over at you and taking your hand in his.

You relaxed and looked out the window, watching the sky turn from bright red and orange to a cool purple and blue.

As the stars started to appear, you all pulled into an abandoned parking lot.

Matt ran around to grab a big bag and a flashlight as you stepped out of the car cautiously.

"Babe? What are we doing? There's no one here....what is this?" You asked looking around.

"Shh it's a surprise...follow me!" He said smiling and kissing your forehead and then running to the doors of an old building.

"Can we even get in?" You asked.

"If I pick the lock yeah." He said and then pulled out a paperclip. After about two minutes you heard it click and the door creaked open eerily.

You both stepped inside with your flashlights on and looked at all of the cracked paintings and broken vases.

"Woah...." you said going up some rickety stairs. As you climbed higher, Matt was right behind you making sure you wouldn't fall.

"This place is so cool..." you said looking up at the top of the staircase to a balcony. As you reached the top you quickly ran out onto the balcony and saw the city in the distance. The moon shining brightly upon your skin. As Matt got up to the balcony you looked at him and smiled.

"Was this the surprise?" You asked.

"Yeah kinda... I thought we'd sleep here tonight. It's nice and peaceful....he said looking up at the sky. He then pointed over to the stars causing you to follow his finger.

"Hey look at that..." he said.

You saw the Big Dipper and smiled. You always liked stars and continued looking for more constellations, not noticing what Matthew was doing.

"Um......and this was the other surprise..." he said.

When you turned around you saw Matt down on one knee with a small box and a rose shaped diamond engagement ring inside. Your heart fluttered and your eyes teared up. You weren't expecting this at all.

"Y/n....we've been together for almost 4 years now....and I....I love you so so much and I would want nothing more than to go on these little adventures for the rest of my life with you...so...will you marry me?" He asked nervously.

You wiped the tears falling from your face and looked into his eyes. You couldn't believe this was happening.

"Yes! Of course Matthew...." you said kissing him. He then slipped the ring on your finger and kissed you.

You broke off the kiss and looked up at him smiling as wide as ever.

"I love you..." you said.

"I love you too."

And that was the start to many adventures to come.
