"Good morning."

Alex shook the offered hand and replied, "Good morning, I'm assuming you're Dr Garcia."

"Yes, and you're Alessandra Stark?"

"That's me." The therapist indicated for Alex to take a seat and so she did.

"So, we have half an hour together and in that time, I'd like for us to explore the start of this trauma you have as well as ways of dealing with it. I'm happy to take things slowly, in fact, I'd prefer it, especially since I know you've had a previous bad experience with a therapist."

Alex snorted, "Sorry, but if being kidnapped and nearly killed is a bad experience then I don't want to know what a terrible one is."

"When we have a morning session and my bodega runs out of coffee." The therapist answered wryly.

"Am I allowed to laugh at that?"

"You can, but I'll write it down." That did make Alex laugh— the reply was so like Theundruk. She relaxed slightly, sprawling out in the large armchair. Dr Garcia picked up her notepad and rested it against her crossed legs.

"So, I would like us to begin with the main issues Tony Stark mentioned. I must say, I don't typically work this way but you are, obviously, extremely special circumstances. There is complete confidentiality here so don't worry about that, and you will be told about any correspondence between me and Tony Stark, although there should be no need for any."

"Good. Okay, so probably the main problem is that I suffer from memory loss."

"Transient amnesia," Doctor Garcia added, "You forgot for short periods of time but the memories do come back."

"Yes. Usually after I've had a nap."

"Can you explain to me what you forget?"

"Stuff that happened. Sometimes it's a few hours, sometimes it's days."

"Can you tell me about the last time this happened?"

"A robot kidnapped my family. It was just me and Pietro— oh god, I should probably talk to you about him and his sister, but yeah, me and Pietro went to get them. Ultron got me and made me watch videos from when I was...experimented on? I think is the best word and that triggered me into forgetting the past month."

"And this has happened before? People triggering you so they can take advantage of your loss of memories."

"Yes. Although Dr Wells, my last therapist, only did it so he could get me unconscious."

"What do you normally do after you regain your memory?"

"Well..."

Pietro examined Adelaide's notes while she was gone, adding little comments in the margins for when she needed them later on. She'd been given a biology practise assessment on balancing meals for a variety of people, but the only one Pietro could help with was the athlete's diet.

"Step away from the notes, Pietor."

"Pay-tor," he mocked Adelaide's southern accent, "It's stupid, different athletes would require extremely different meals. The swimmer, Micheal Phelps—"
