2 weeks later

It's been 2 weeks since I got the email. I received another email saying that they wanted to meet up to discuss some things. I drove to the directions I was giving and when I got there I rang the doorbell. I was kinda nervous to be honest I didn't know who I was opening up for. When the door opened my eyes widen, bright eyes met mine. Daniel Seavey?

"Daniel? Oh my gosh it's been awhile!" I said hugging him.

"Lex! How are you?" He asked stepping aside for me to come in.

"I'm great, and you?" I asked.

"Good good, make yourself at home." Daniel smiled.

I smiled as I walked inside until it hit me. What was Daniel doing here and why does this place look familiar? Wait no heck no it can't be.

"Daniel what are you-" I got cut off by someone saying my name.

"There she is our opening act!" I turn around to see Eben?

What the fuck is going on?

"Someone tell me what's going on because I have a bad feeling about this." I said.

"Uhm Lex, you're our opening act." Daniel said scratching the back of his neck.

Before I could say anything 3 other boys came running towards me.

"LEX, WE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" Zach said tackling me with a hug.

"OH MY GOSH LOOK AT YOU!" Jonah said hugging me next.

"LEX I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR'E HERE!" Corbyn says hugging me as well.

"Me neither." I tell them.

They stood next to Daniel and I gave them the "are you kidding me right now" look. They all looked down and I turned back to Eben.

"You emailed me didn't you?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I knew if I said it was me you wouldn't come so I used a friends email to cover up." He tells me.

"I'm sorry I love you guys but I don't wanna do this anymore." I tell them walking towards the door.

"Wait Lex please!" They shouted.

Just as I was about to open the door someone else opened it and I was face to face with the one person I was hoping to not see once I walked in this house. Curly hair and brown eyes, yep no one other than Jack Avery. His head snapped up as he realized he was standing right in front of me.

"Lex?" He said surprised.

"I'm not doing this." I tell them and run outside.

- jack's pov

I saw someone else's shoes appearing on the front door making my head snapped up to be faced with the one person I didn't expect to see any time soon. long black hair and brown eyes that matched mine.
I knew those features all too well they belonged to the person I'm still in love with.  Lexis Anderson.

"Lex?" I said surprised.

"I'm not doing this." She tell them and run outside.

I watched as she drove off and I turned to look back at everyone else. What is happening? Then I remembered Eben emailed her to be our opening act. She must of found out and now doesn't want to be our opening act. I sighed as I look at the driveway where her car was parked moments ago.

"Jack fix this!" Corbyn yelled.

"What? Why me!" I exclaimed.

"We all know you're the reason why she doesn't wanna do this, now go and fix this Avery." Jonah tells me.

I sighed as I opened the front door once again getting inside my car. Where am I gonna find her? I drove around reaching a small downtown place. I passed by this small cafe and saw her figure sitting at a table by the window. I parked my car locking it and going inside. Pushing the door hearing the bell on top ring. Smiling remembering that me and her used to go to this cafe back when she lived with us at the wdw house. We'd come here once every week if not maybe twice. Taking a seat across from her I didn't say anything yet. The table was the last table in the back of the cafe but still by the window. She sat quietly eating the cake in front of her.

"If this is about me being your opening act imma save you time and tell you to leave right now."

"Hello to you too." I tell her.

"Hi now leave." She said finally looking up at me.

"Lexis I know we're not on the greatest terms but please we really need an opening act." I begged.

"Hmm, still no Avery." She said finishing the cake.

"Lexis please we're desperate, tour is in a month."

"I said no!" She exclaimed.

She stood up and left the cafe heading to her car. I chased after her outside. I pulled her arms making her come towards me. She stood still and looked at me.

"Lexis please! I know you still hate me and I know you will never forgive me but this isn't for me. Do it for the fans and the guys we need an opening act and then we don't have anything else to worry about, just please." I breathed.

"Fine." She whispered looking down.

"Thank you so much!" I said hugging her then quickly letting go.

"Avery.." She said.

"Yea?" I tell her.

"You can let go now." She tells me.

I looked down seeing I still had a grip on her wrists. I slowly moved my hands away and just stood back.

"Okay I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." She said.

"Yeah see you tomorrow." I scratched the back of my neck.
