Today was the day. It's Saturday meaning today was graduation. Here I am at the Avery household, Syd was helping me get ready today. I'm currently in the living room trying to practice on wearing these heels. Mom told me no vans on graduation day. I told Syd earlier to hide Jack's gift in her room and she agreed. Yes. I got him a gift, I hate the kid but it would've been rude of me if I haven't.
"Syd I can't do this, I'm about to walk barefoot upstage!" I exclaimed.
"Lex you got this, come on just walk that way." She pointed to the kitchen.
I tried my best on trying to walk towards the kitchen I got the hang of it for about 5 seconds when I was just about to enter my right foot went to the side and I fell. Jack came into view and he looked at me.
"What are you doing?" He laughed.
"Mom said I can't wear Vans, gotta be professional." I sighed.
"Here let me help you." He said grabbing my hands and turning us around.
"Okay." I smiled.
"Now walk towards Syd, it's okay I got you." He said backing up in the living room.
I held on to Jack's hands as we slowly walked towards Syd. I lost my balance but was lucky enough to have him beside me.
"With heels you're finally my height!" He laughed.
"Oh shut up!" I said playfully hitting his arm.
"Jack! Lex! It's time to get ready." We looked up to see Jack's mom.
We both nodded and Jack helped take off the heels. Isla was getting ready with Ava. Syd told me she would meet me upstairs and nodded.
"Well I'll see you soon, don't worry if you fall in heels I got you. I'm right behind you." He smiled.
"Thanks, well here we go." I tell him as we head upstairs to get ready.
It took us 30 minutes to get ready. Syd fixed herself first before me, I told her to not go overboard with the makeup just a natural look. I wasn't a fan of makeup anyways. She helped me get into my outfit and curled my hair. When I was done Syd was in tears.

"Oh my gosh Lex!" She cried.
"All thanks to you!" I tell her.
"I'm proud of my work!" She grinned.
"Thank you so much!" I said once again while giving her a hug.
"No problem, now let's go we gotta get to the school." She tells me.
She wanted to make a huge entrance for me and I let her. She opened the door and stood in front of me so that nobody could see.
