- lex's pov

So the first night here wasn't so bad. I forgot how huge this house was, I was told that the boy's girlfriends lived here too. Jack and Daniel shared a room while Jonah and Corbyn got the biggest bedroom since they shared with Zach having him sleep on an air mattress. I remembered the first day in this house Jack and Daniel were slow at picking rooms. Having their girlfriends here is gonna be different then the last time I lived here. Some girl named Kayla who was Corbyn's girlfriend shared a room with Leena who was Zach's girlfriend. Tanya Jonah's girlfriend got a room downstairs. She shared a room with a girl named Kylee. For me I'm sharing a room with Daniel's girlfriend Clara. I went downstairs seeing Daniel there in the kitchen.

"Well look who's up." Daniel smiled.

"Good morning Danny." I replied.

"Lex it's like 2pm." He laughed.

"Oh shit." I tell him.

"Yep by the way Clara will be here, she just got back from Chicago. She visited a friend." Daniel explained.

"I finally get to meet the girl that makes Daniel happy." Daniel blushed.

I heard the door opened, thinking it was Clara I turned around to see a girl face planting landing on top of the pizza she had.

"Hey guys I'm he-" And down she goes.

"Kylee! This is Lex, the one Jack always talks about." Daniel introduced me.

Jack always talks about me? Wait why do I care.

Kylee stood up and wiped the pizza off of her. I tried not to laugh at her clumsiness.

"Oh hey, I'm Kylee. Sorry for that embarrassing entrance." She laughed.

"It's cool, I'm lex." I smiled.

"Kylee the pizza!" Daniel yelled.

"Wow I'm fine thanks for asking." Kylee said rolling her eyes.

"Daniel it's fine I'll just order another one." I tell them as I picked up the ruined pizza.

"Well nice meeting you Lex, imma go change." I nodded as Kylee went straight to her room.

"DANIEL!"

And there was Daniel with his arms opened wide and Clara jumping into his arms. I smiled at the cuteness then remembered I'm still single.

"Daniel is this her?" I whispered.

"Yes ma'am." He whispered back.

"Home run." I tell him and he laughed.

"Wait! Is this the girl Jack is still cra-" Daniel put his hand over Clara's mouth.

I looked at them confused. Daniel gave Clara the death glare and she nodded as he pulled his hand away.

"I mean, I'm Clara nice to meet you." She grinned.

"Lex." I tell her.

"Lex you look like shit you just woke up, please go fix yourself cause everyone is about to come. We're all hanging out today." Daniel tells me.

"Wow thanks how polite, lex you look like shit." I mimicked him and went to get ready.

Later that night everyone was in the backyard. Just hanging out. Daniel was siting on the edge of the pool he just finished eating a watermelon. As Jack walked by I did as well. Pretending I wasn't looking I bumped my hip into him making him fall in the pool. He yelled and I laughed.

"OH MY GOD!" Tanya yelled with watermelon in her mouth.

"JACK BRO YOU GOOD?" Daniel asked.

I turned to see Clara smirking at me and I just shrugged. I felt a hand grab my ankle and I squealed. I heard a bunch of gasps. Water filled my nose and as I got back up I saw Jack smirk at me.

"What the fuck!" I tell him.

"Shouldn't have done it first." He tells me.

"I got you Lex." Leena said as she helped me up.

"Daniel help me." Jack says sticking his arm out.

"Yes Clara? Coming babe!" And with that Daniel walked away.

I wrapped myself in a towel and turned to see Jack. He rolled his eyes at me but I didn't even care. The rest of the night was awful.

I finally met Ethan who was Kylee's boyfriend which filled the night with couples being cute and shit. I'd look at Jack from time to time and he'd be looking anywhere but at me. I smiled as Daniel and Clara fed each other slices of watermelons, Jonah and Tanya shared Chipotle, Zach had his arm around Leena as they cuddled, Corbyn and Kayla had some play fight going on and Kylee and Ethan made small talk.

"Alright guys pizza is here!" Jack exclaimed.

"Pepperoni as usual for me." I said as I grabbed a slice.

"Hawaiian." Corbyn and Kayla said in sync.

"Oh gosh do I want pepperoni or Hawaiian?" Jack asked himself.

"You always eat pepperoni pizza though." Daniel tells him.

"I can't decide though, I wanna try something different." He replied.

"Huh, shocker." I said as I bit into my pizza.

"Ugh, this is difficult." Jack whined.

"Not surprised, Jack can't stay committed to just one. Hey here's an idea why don't you have both at the same time you're really good at that." I smirked and walked away.

"Damnnn she told you." Tanya shook her head.

"Oh shit." Clara looked at me with wide eyes.

"She told you." Kayla said with her mouth full of pizza.

"What's wrong Lex huh? Still not over it?" Jack said standing in front of me.

"Bitch I'm way over it, I shouldn't be wasting my precious time on you." I tell him.

"Alright alright, let's calm ourselves." Corbyn says.

Jack sighed as he sat next to Daniel. I rolled my eyes and continued to eat.

"Lex you good?" Clara asked me.

"Yeah, thanks." I smiled.

No I'm not. I'm living with my ex who cheated on me and to make it worse he was my best friend. Now we live in the same roof, how am I suppose to be okay?
