Today was Thursday. Since none of us were busy we planned on having a mini getaway for the weekend and return back on Monday. I was inside the house while everyone got the van loaded. I looked at the front door seeing Leena come in with Corbyn.

"Hey Jack, the van is ready come on." Leena tells me.

"Alright, let's go." I said heading out the door.

When I got there everyone was formed in a circle laughing at something someone said. Lex turned to me and she instantly stopped laughing. She's only been here for 24 hours and the girls seem to love her already and the boys made it like nothing happened. Like everything was normal between them. I mean how could you not love Lex? It's so easy to start a conversation with her, you'll never get tired of her. Her personality is the type you can always be around. She can make you laugh with her clumsiness and she'll always find a story to tell you that can keep you company for awhile. I looked at Lex and she turned her attention back to Kayla.

"Alright guys I hoped you all peed, it's a far drive." Jonah says.

"It's like 6:30 in the morning imma go back to sleep." Tanya says.

"You can during the car ride." Zach tells her.

"Boy I was gonna do it either way, I'm not driving." Tanya tells Zach.

"Here, only us boys will do the driving so we can let you girls rest but if one of y'all like to help that will be nice." Corbyn tells us.

"I'll do 30 minutes of driving but that's it." Clara volunteered.

"I'll do the other 30." Lex smiled.

"Thank you Lex and Clara." Daniel laughed.

"It's only 6 hours away we got this." Jonah said.

"Alright well everyone get in!" Corbyn yelled and we nodded.

Jonah was driving first and Tanya got shotgun no surprise. The first row held Corbyn sitting on the left side Kayla in the middle and Zach on the right side. Behind Zach was Leena so she could talk to him, Clara in the middle and Daniel on the left side completing the second row. That left the last row empty. I saw Lex look around trying to find a way not to sit next to me.

"Clara?" Lex asked.

"Yeah, what's up?" She smiled.

"Can I sit there and you go in the back?" She suggested.

Clara looked at me then Lex. She smirked and turned her attention back to Lex.

"Nah I'm gonna feel claustrophobic in the back I'm good here." Clara replied.

"Babe you're not claustro-" She cut Daniel off and I shook my head.

"Leena?" Lex said tapping her shoulder.

"Don't even Lex." Leena tells her and I laughed.

I heard Lex groan and she moved to Kayla. No luck Lex just sit in the back.

"Kayla can I please-" Kayla cut her off.

"No sis, stop being a baby and go sit in the back." Kayla tells her and I chuckled.

"You heard her stop being a baby and get in the back. Hurry up I wanna sleep." I tell her.

She rolled her eyes and got in the back. I smiled to myself and got in closing the door behind me. She instantly turned away and looked out the window. I sighed looking down at my feet. Realizing she won't talk to me for the next few hours I decided to try and sleep.
