The party was going to be in our backyards. Guest should be arriving soon so it gave me time to change. When we got out of the car I wanted to take the shoes off since I wouldn't be able to walk in the heels much longer. As I bent down to take them off Jack grabbed me and carried me inside the house and up to Syd's room bridal style.

"Thanks." I tell him.

"No problem, imma go change." He tells me.

"Me too, I'll meet you downstairs." He nodded as he walked off to his room.

I went to my bag that I left in Syd's room and quickly changed out of my dressy attire. I then went up to the mirror in the room and took off all my makeup, after I folded my clothes and put it inside my bag and wore the spare ones I brought. I neatly placed my cap and gown on the bed. Sighing feeling more comfortable.

I looked around the room for Jack's present

I looked around the room for Jack's present. When I saw the familiar wrapping I grabbed it from underneath Sydney's table and walked out of the room closing the door shut behind me. I ran down the stairs only to once again be greeted by a certain noodle head.

"Here's your graduation gift." We said in unison.

"You first." He tells me.

"No, ladies first." I joked.

"Ha ha, how about this we switch and you count to 3 and will open it at the same time." He explained and I nodded.

We both exchange gifts and stare at it for awhile wondering what it could be. He looked at me and I shook my head as a yes getting ready to count.

"3...2...1.."

When we both opened our gifts we couldn't help but burst in to laughter. We got each other the same gift. Adidas Superstar. Jack and I loved Adidas and Vans and well shoes.

"I can't believe we thought the same thing." He chuckled.

"It's a best friend superpower." I tell him.

"Indeed it is." He smiled.

I laughed as the video ended. Looking back at Jack and repeating the words he said earlier, "who's grad" Everyone was outside so we decided to go out there. Jack and I were hosting the party and most of the people we hung out with back at school we're here. I sat next to Jack and it was just us two talking.

"Hey mom can you take a pic of us." Jack said giving his phone.

"Of course." She smiled.

I looked at Jack's mom and back at Jack. He looked at me and started making funny faces and I couldn't help but hide my face in his chest and laugh.

"Here you go, have fun you two." She smiled giving the phone back and walking away.

"Let me see." I tell Jack.

"Check your phone." He smiled.

I raised my eyebrow but took out my phone seeing a notif pop up.

jackaverymusic high school holds some of our best memories, glad you were with me through it all.  Now time for a lit party..life is great :)) @lexanderson

I blushed and double tap my screen to like the pic. I saw Jack look over at me and smile. I shook my head and looked around avoiding eye contact with him. We sat there in silence until my mom called us.

"Come here, you guys are gonna sing for us." Jack and I looked at each other.

"Oh uhm..." I started.

"Come on, it's been awhile." Ava stated.

Soon enough everyone was cheering. Jack and I looked at each other and we sighed. He told us he'd be right back and seconds later he came out with a guitar. We sat on a chair and when he started to play I smiled instantly knowing what he was playing.

Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur. Jack and I were obsessed with this song when it came out, months later here we are signing it together. I couldn't help the smile forming on my face when I'm able to watch Jack sing, hearing it makes my heart melt. I coughed as my part came up.

I'm gonna love you till
my lungs give out
I promise till death we part like in our vows
so I wrote this song for you, now everybody knows
'cause now it's just you and me till we're grey and old
just say you won't let go
just say you won't let go

When we finished the song everyone ended up cheering and I smiled. Ava was live on Instagram but I just shook it off. I was confused when Jack's mom gave his phone. They both smirked at me and walked away leaving me alone. Getting up to get food I quickly check Instagram seeing Jack posted on his story. It was a clip of us singing with the caption "it's been too long @ lexanderson" that now makes sense why his mom had his phone.

"Hey there." I jumped up seeing Jack behind me.

"So, having fun? He asked.

"Actually yes, I'm here with my friends and my family and you. Nothing could be better." I tell him.

"One lit graduation party huh." He laughed.

"Oh it is, we performed in it plus we're also the host." I giggled.

"Best performers ever!" He exclaimed.

"Why haven't we gone on tour yet!" I said sarcastically.

"I don't know but people don't know what they're missing." He laughed.

"Thanks for the shoes by the way." I tell him.

"No problem, and thanks too." He smiled.

"You're very welcome." I laughed.

"Let's go." Jack said pulling my hand and leading us away from everyone else.

"Wait, where are we going Jack?!"

"You'll see..."
