It was 8 in the morning. Today was the day Daniel, Lex and I get to go home for our graduation. The rest of the gang is staying here but will some point visit their families this week. Clara wanted to be with Daniel on his graduation and their flight was at 8:30am so they've been gone since 5:30 this early morning. The airport is only like 30 minutes from here. Ours is at 11:45 so we're about to leave soon.

We we're all downstairs doing some last minute things. Making sure we had everything. Lex was finishing her bowl of cereal as I put our stuff in the back. I walked back in and stood there.

"Okay everything is set." I tell them.

"So Jack that beach girl from our mini getaway." Zach laughed.

"Oh my gosh." I mumbled.

"Oh yeah her, what's her name Elizabeth? She was tall and loved talking about herself. That's what Jack loves! Definitely his type." Lex said putting the bowl in the sink.

"Stop. You know I like short girls, you know my type Lex." I tell her rolling my eyes.

"Geez Jack it was a joke not a dick don't take it so hard." Leena tells him.

Lex spit her water out and laughed. We all looked at her in confusion.

"What dick?" She tells us.

"Oh shit." Tanya said trying to catch her breath.

"You know Anderson if I wanted a bitch so bad I would've just gotten a dog." I tell her

"Oh." She said.

"Don't worry I'm not insulting you, I'm describing you." I smirked.

"Anyways! You guys are gonna be late to your flight come on get going!" Jonah interrupted.

We all said our goodbyes to each other as we were outside. I waved as I got in the car and slowly backed out of the driveway. We were gonna leave our car at the airport. Now here's the thing Daniel was suppose to leave before all of us and we would leave tomorrow but we got permission to leave a day early so Lex and I are surprising our families.

It was 30 minutes of pure silence so when we finally got to the airport it was less awkward with all the noise surrounding us. We did the whole check in and security stuff you always do at airports. It took us about an hour and 15 minutes since the line in security was long. The airport was super busy.

When we finally found our gate we took a seat by the window. I saw Lex's eyes begin to close.

"You want anything?" I ask her.

"I want a medium chocolate chip frappe and a steak biscuit and and a hash brown." She said half awake.

"Okay." I chuckled.

I went over to the McDonald's they had here and waited in line. I looked at my phone to check the time. 11:25 it read. It took about 10 minutes to get the food. When I walked back to Lex they already had people lined up.

"Hey, come on wake up princess." I covered my mouth realizing what I said.

"I'm coming Jacky." I smiled seeing she was half asleep so she didn't know what she was saying.

We had about 45 minutes till we landed. I slept for most of the flight and so did Lex. We were all the way in the back and had a seat to ourselves. She took window seat as I sat in the middle. Her head was on my shoulder and she was snoring loud.
