Damon's POV

I rush to Elena worriedly, and put one arm around her back and the other on her arm. My heart is beating fast, and that's saying something for a vampire.

"Elena, whats wrong? Elena?" I question holding onto her tight. She suddenly stops, and wipes her mouth with her hand and looks up at me. I cup her face in my hands.

"Damon?" She asks her voice almost a whimper. Before I can get a word out of my mouth, Elena falls to the ground.

"Elena!" I yell and get down next to her quickly. I lift her into my arms bridal style and run as fast as I can to Klaus' mansion.

At the mansion

Elijah's POV

Haley and I stand in the living room in front of, Klaus, Rebekah, Kol, Freya and Stefan. Klaus is a bit angry and paranoid right because, we have just told him them the news. Everyone else is just scared about the death that may come. Haley has told everyone that the virus does indeed effect Originals but, it will not kill them. The side effects besides death, will indeed effect them though. Only hybrids or wolves.

So Klaus is scared for the pain to come to him but, we are all mostly terrified and nervous about Haley and Elena. (Elena has not yet told them how she is still alive or that she is an Original, so they think she is only a hybrid. Therefore they believe she will die.)

They will not survive if we do not find a cure. And we aren't sure if there is one. Klaus pulls out his phone for the third time and dials Elena's number. It goes to voicemail. So he leaves a message.

"Little sister, answer your bloody phone!" He yells and throws his phone at the wall. I was going to saw something before Damon comes crashing into the room with Elena in his arms.

"Help her, help her now!" He yells rushing Elena to the couch lying her down gently

"What happened?!" Klaus yells as he runs to the couch as well as us. Klaus tucks her hair behind her ear. "She is still breathing! Damon what happened?" Klaus shouts. Damon stops his pacing long enough to tell us what happened.

"We, We were walking home and she started throwing up blood and, and then she passed out!" Damon yells throwing a bottle of bourbon at the wall.

"Haley what did you say the symptoms were?" Klaus asks Haley.

"Symptoms of what!?" Damon shouts.

Klaus explains everything to Damon. Damon pails and looks like he's bout to throw up himself. "Someone call Bonnie, Alaric, and Caroline. Tell them to come here."

"I've got it." Rebekah announces as she runs to get her phone.

"Haley what are the symptoms?" Klaus asks again. All we hear is silence. We turn around to see Haley on the floor, unconscious.

"Haley!" I yell as Klaus rushes over as well as Kol and Freya.

"No, no, no, wake up, get up." I whisper lifting her up and lying her on the love seat. She is still breathing.

"I'll go take Hope to Jackson's grandma's." Kol announces as he goes to get Hope. Rebekah walks in.

"They're on their way." She says, Gasping when she see's Haley.

"What happened!" She exclaims. Suddenly Elena gasps as she rises her head from the couch.

"Damon?" She cries.
