We've gotten to the 2022 preseason and the first week has passed. In the next several parts, which will run up to Opening Day on April 9th, we will see:
* One relationship explode into a million pieces
* The consummation of several relationships (trying to determine how graphic I want to make them)
* The development of a relationship-that's-not-a-relationship (the two people sort of fall into each other, based on different needs)
* A major step taken by one couple
* The first inklings of a future relationship
* The rise and fall (and rise and fall) of the main ships
Perhaps the most important development you will see is the dovetailing of this fanfic with my book, "Chance Encounter". Characters from the book will appear in this next week, while players and events from the fanfic are mentioned in the chapter I started today. There will be ins-and-outs between the two throughout this year, with the climax here being written from two perspectives (the book will have less specifics on the events which overlap from that week than the fanfic).
Provide feedback, ideas, guesses as we move forward in "The Wait Is Over". I will be posting the next part tomorrow, which includes the transaction wire from all the action on Friday.
