Part 4

*The next day*
Tessa's POV:
Today was Friday, finally! I went to school and was greeted by Ethan, Alissa, Grayson and Kade. We all walked to our first class of the day. We all had different classes to attend. I hugged Ethan as I walked into my chemistry lab. The desks are paired up in two's so I everyone had a patterned to work and sit with. I sit in a seat with no one next me. The class begins and I start writing down some notes and I was attentive. About 13 minutes into the class guess who shows up. Fucking Jake. There were no more available seats except next to me.

He got yelled at for being late and was ordered to sit next to me. I rolled my eyes and slammed my head down into the desk as he takes his seat beside me. I was pissed and I could tell he was too.

Like if this class couldn't get any worse, he assigned us all to do a project with the person next you, your partner, Jake.

The class ended and the teacher left the classroom. I picked my stuff up off the desk and stand up getting ready to leave. Then Jake hands me his phone. I stand in confusion.

Jake: "your number.."

Tessa: "excuse me?" I asked joining my eyebrows.

Jake: "I'm gonna need to text you for the project, asshole"

I entered my number.

Tessa: "wow"

Jake: "what?"

Tessa: "didn't know you cared that much about your grades" I said sarcastically and walked away.

I headed to a few more classes until recess rolled around. I meet up with my usual friends and we all sit at a lunch table. My mood was pissed because of Jake.

Ethan: "babe what's wrong?" He said side hugging me while I lay my head on his shoulder.

Jake watched from his table across the room.

Tessa: "I have to do a chem project"

Alissa: "what's so wrong with that?" She said slightly chuckling while biting into a French fry.

Tessa:"you didn't let me finish, I'm partnered up with Jake.." I groaned.

Ethan filled with anger.

Ethan: "I swear if that piece of shit hurts you..."

Tessa: "he won't, I promise" I said calming him down.

Grayson: "nows probably not the time but Tessa you coming to Max's party tonight?"

Tessa: "it depends...are you  and Ethan gonna be there?"

Ethan: "yeah and you have to come, please?"

Tessa: "only if Alissa and Kade comes"

Kade: "I see what your trying to do there, your trying to get us all to come, I like it" he said nodding with a smile.

Alissa: "well I mean if Kade and Tessa are in then of course I'm in..."

Grayson: "awesome, see you guys tonight!"
