Part 27

Jake's POV:
So a lot of people are starting to recognize Tessa in the school and I think it's because she's been hanging out with Anthony a lot. Like yea Tessa and I used to hang out a lot but behind closed doors. She's been literally eating lunch with Anthony everyday and it's like I'm dead to her because she doesn't even notice me anymore.

I decided to break the ice between me and Tessa and catch up on things with her because...I missed her I guess...so I approached her. She was dressed in no way I'd let a girlfriend of mine leave the house. She had on really short booty shorts and a revealing top. Anyways she was by her locker so I took the opportunity.

Jake: "hey long time no talk" I say playfully nudging her shoulder.

Tessa: "yup, how have you been" she said kinda cold.

Jake: "great, what about you?"

Tessa: "same"

Jake: "cool, cool" I said awkwardly.

I was gonna make more conversation with her but then one of the most popular guys in the school besides myself approached us/her. His name was Ricky Banks. He was also on my football team so we talk and shit.

Ricky: "woah back off Jake, tryna swoop her up huh? That's my job" he said laughing.

He squeezed himself in between Tessa and I. He had his arm on the locker and he was over Tessa.

Ricky: "party at my house tonight, be there?" He asked.

She cringed.

Ricky: "c'mon it'll be really chill, everyone's gonna be there" he insisted.

Tessa: "everyone? Like who?"

Ricky: "well Anthony was supposed to come but he bailed..but Jake your coming, right?"

Jake: "yea I'll be there"

Ricky: "more people are gonna be there but I was tryna pick some people that you actually like"

I smirked and looked down to hide my face because I'm pretty sure that I was blushing. She noticed me, once again.

Tessa: "I'll be there too I guess" she said looking at me.

I looked up still with a smirk on my face and then back down while playing with my fingers.

Ricky: "well someone's blushing to the max over there, see you both there" he said walking off.

Jake: "you really going?"

Tessa: "well do you want me to?"

Jake: "duh..." I said in a yea tone.

Tessa: "alright I'll go" she said smiling.

I wrapped my hand over her shoulder and we both walked away.
