Jake's POV:
"no I don't, I love you" she whispered in my ear. That was unexpected. I stood there in silence.

Ethan: "Tessa please, let's just talk, please" he begged her.

She gave in and they went to a private spot to talk.

I took the opportunity to confront Erika.

I sat next to her, she tried to kiss me but I pulled back.

Jake: "care to explain what that was about Erika?"

Erika: "nothing happened"

Jake: "so if I go ask Ethan-"

Erika: "fine! I kissed him okay! But it was only for a few seconds, he pulled away quickly. He said he has this thing for that Tessa girl, why is everyone after her? Didn't she used to be a nerd"

Jake: "well I don't consider her a nerd and if you do well then she's just my nerd"

Erika: "Jake I'm sorry"

Jake: "I don't want to hear it Erika! We're done!"

I left her and got up to go find Tessa.

I searched all over and found myself in the backyard, they were there...making out...I don't get it, she just said that she loved me a few minutes ago then she's making out with guy? Loves confusing...

My face dropped and I walked away.

I sat in a corner the entire night all by myself. When someone sat right beside me. I didn't bother to look.

I feel a head rest on my chest and a hand holding onto mine. I look over to see Tessa. I was happy but kinda confused to why she came back to me.

Tessa: "I know that you saw and before you say anything just hear me out"

I shook my head side to side and took a deep breath.

Tessa: "he started making out with me but I pulled back, now it's up to you to believe me but just know that I'll be waiting for you when you decide to believe me"

Jake: "okay"

She kissed my cheek and got up and walked away.

Jake: "wait! I have to drop you home and I'm ready to go"

Tessa: "no it's okay, I don't want to bother you, I'll get home don't worry"

I got up and grabbed her hand.

Jake: "it's my job to make sure you reach home safely and if anything ever happens to you-then I don't what I'll do..."

We held hands walking outside to my car.

We pulled up to her house and we stared at eachother.

Tessa: "dude come in, it's still early, we can hang out a bit"

Jake: "I don't think your parents would appreciate that"

Tessa: "they're out of the country.."

Jake: "oh yea.."

Tessa: "please come in!"

Jake: "fine I'll come in"
