Part 15

Jake's POV:
The school day was over, finally! I walked out the school doors and spotted Tessa talking to her friend, Alissa. Alissa walked away and hopped into a car. I took the opportunity to freak Tessa out a bit. She was on her phone.

I snuck up behind her and hugged her from behind. She froze almost instantly.

Tessa: "I swear who ever tf you are-"

Jake: "it's me!" She laughed and I kissed her on her cheek while still hugging her from behind.

She turned around in my arms and hugged me.

Tessa: "you scared me!" She laughed while softly punching me on my arm.

I laughed.

Jake: "I'm sorry"

She jumped in her car and drove away.

I stood in the empty car park where her car was parked and watched her drive away with my hands in my pockets and a smile on my face.

I don't think I've ever felt love like his for anyone else. I think I'm falling for her- no! I can't! I can't be falling for Tessa Brooks! I'll have so may fingers pointed at me and everyone would laugh, she's technically the nerd of school at least that's what people think of her, that's why I used to bully her so much.

All of a sudden her car pulled up in front of me.

Tessa: "get in loser we're going shopping!" She yelled at me seriously but then breaking into a laugh.

I laughed.

Jake: "shopping? Oh yea, I don't do shopping.."

She came out of the drivers seat, walked around the car, opened the car door for me and pushed me in the car. She got back in and we drove away.

She pulled the seatbelt over me and buckled me up.

Tessa: "do I really have to do everything for you?" She joked.

I chilled and leaned in for a kiss and unexpectedly, she kissed back. While I was standing out in the parking lot, I had made up my mind to not forward my feelings towards Tessa but I just can't help it, I mean freaking look at her!

My left hand and her right hand intertwined and our hands layed glued together on my lap while she drove with the other. I raised both our hands and kissed hers. We both looked at eachother and smiled.

Jake: "so where are we really going?"

Tessa: "shopping" she said looking at me then back at the road in front of her.

Jake: "are you serious? I thought you were joking about that" I smiled innocently.

Tessa: "who knows? Maybe you'll actually like it"

Jake: "trust me, I hate shopping" I said looking at her truthfully.

Tessa: "we'll see about that" she smirked at me.

Jake: "aw that was cute" I said blushing.

Tessa: "what was cute?"

Jake: "your little smirk" I said in a cute voice.

Tessa: "shut up!" She said softly punching my arm again.

We finally got to the mall.

We went into the first store.

Jake: "hey pick out something for a party"

Tessa: "why? I'm not going to any upcoming parties.."

Jake: "your coming with me to this party this Friday"

Tessa: "what?"

Jake: "surprise!"

Tessa: "what do you mean surprise?"

Jake: "I want you to be my date this Friday night.."

Tessa: "Erika" she laughed.

Jake: "awh c'mon! She doesn't have to know anything" I complained like a little child.

Tessa: "hears what, we can go as friends but no more, deal?"

Jake: "deal!" We shook on it.
