Vixen watched Shale pace the room. He kept mumbling something and glancing at Vixen. She sat back down a sighed. She had asked and asked him question. Barely getting any answers.
Use his weakness. Use you. He'll do anything for you. Get yourself out of here, the voice in the back of Vixen head spoke. She growled under her breath, and stared at Shale. It would be easy to get out, as long as he was dumb enough. Deciding she had nothing to lose, Vixen tried.
"Shale. Shale please, let me out. I don't like being caged." She begged. Grabbing one of the bars. Shale looked at her. His eyes, seemed so distant. As though he wasn't actually looking at her, but through her. Vixen frowned, and cocked her head. She met his blue gaze with her own. He flinched a bit and came back to reality. Staring at Vixen. Slowly he shook his head.
"I can't. I couldn't, even if I could." He said. Vixen tilted her head, and put on her most innocent look.
"Why not?" She winned. Shale's face stayed emotionless.
"Because, your potentially dangerous, and I don't have the key." He replied. Vixen's eyes narrowed and she growled. Resting her head in her hands. She closed her eyes, trying to think. A few banging sound startled her. She opened her eyes, and looked up. Standing outside the cell were two more vampires. They both wore black and red uniforms. Vixen stared at them. Slowly, they moved towards the door.
"Wait. What are you doing?" Shale said from behind them. One of then sighed, and ignored him.
"I said, what are you doing!" He shouted. One of the vampires looked back at him. Slowly he moved his arm to the other vampire. They both stared at Shale. Vixen, wondering what had happened, stood up and walked over to the bars. She was taken aback to see Shale, his beautiful blue eyes changed to a blood red. He was muttering words under his breath. Vixen could tell his fangs were showing. One of the vampires scoffed.
"Back off, or I'll get you in a cell like her. Don't forget we know you use to be a Messores, no one trusts you anymore." He hissed. Shale stared at him for awhile more, before backing off. His fangs went back to normal, his eyes slowly following. He sat back down, and continued muttering. The vampires went back to what they were doing before. They unlocked the door and stepped in, grabbing Vixen and forcing her out. She watched Shale's eyes follow. Wondering slightly if he would follow, himself. She turned back to the vampires, leading her away.
"Where exactly are you taking me?" She asked. They cast her a look, but didn't speak. Vixen rolled her eyes and asked again. Finally the one to her left answered.
"Regina wants to see you." He stated simply. Vixen turned back to the hallways ahead of her. They took a right turn into a giant throne room. Everything was red and white. Including the gown the woman, who was sitting on the throne, wore. Vixen glanced to the person beside her, and was surprised to see it was Shale. He didn't follow, so how did he end up there so quickly? Vixen shrugged the question off, and watched as the woman, who she presumed was Regina, rise. She stared down at Vixen, and for some reason it made her angry. She didn't know why. It was like and unknown sorce of anger, that she swore she knew. Ignoring it, she looked up at her.
"Do you know why your here? Vixen, is it? Is that what you've taken to calling yourself?" She asked, in a demanding tone. Vixen raised an eyebrow and chuckled under her breath.
"No, yes, and yes." She replied. Regina narrowed her eyes and frowned.
"You stand accused for the murders of hundreds of humans and vampires. How do you plead?" She said. Vixen narrowed her eyes.
"Innocent. I've never killed a human or vampire." She responded. Regina looked over at Shale and nodded. Shale let out a sigh and walked forward, until he was in front of Vixen. He looked past her, not able to meet her eyes.
"Vixen. I erased you memories. I kept you understand drugs so you wouldn't remember. I'm the one who know everything about you past. It was all me. I lied about everything." He whispered. Vixen locked her eyes on his. An anger bubbled inside her. Fueling her. She clenched her fists, growling at Shale. He stared at her and frowned. Regina smiled slightly.
"Vixen, what about about to say is true. Vixen, you use to be, are, Mors." He stated, keeping eye contact. Vixen closed her eyes. Slowly she opened them. Keeping her gaze locked with Shales. Slowly, her natural green eyes started changing color. Just like Shale did earlier, her eyes slowly turned blood red. She turned and stared at Regina. A wicked smile on her face.
"Well, finally." She growled. Her usual voice, turned colder. She closed her eyes again, this time memories came flooding back. Back from when she started killing, from when she fell in love with Shale the first time, to right before she lost her memories. She slowly let out a laugh. Opening her eyes and whipping her head to Shale.
"You made a mistake releasing me." She hissed. She bared her fang at him. From the doorway slow, loud claps rang out. Everyone turned to see who the newcomers were.
"I always knew it. Something seemed a little off, Pretty." Vixen, Mors, smiled. Kimberly and Mickelson walked into the room. They walked straight to Mors. Everyone stood still, confused and dumbfounded. Mickelson smiled.
"We knew you weren't dead, Mors." He said. Regina stared at the scene below her.
"Guards attack, kill them now." She shouted. Mors looked at the guards holding her. They glanced at each other and pulled a dagger out. Mickelson and Kimberly leapt into action. They each grabbed a guard and pinned them to the ground. Turning there own daggers on them. They turned back to Mors.
"We need to get going. There's probably more on the way." Mickelson said. Mors nodded, she turned and stared at Shale. A burning hatred in her eyes.
"Bring him." She ordered. Shale didn't fight, and they retreated.CHAPTER SEVENTEEN. So happy we're here, finally. Now I know a lot of you probably seen the whole Vixen being Mors thing coming.
