It had been a while since Ashton and I spoke to each other. After he kissed me in the car things weren't the same anymore.
Arzaylea had come back but I for some reason was upset. I don't know if I missed Ashton or if it was just something else bothering me.
"You know you've looked sad these past few weeks," Arzaylea held onto my arm lightly and poured at me, "You're acting different again."
"I don't know what's wrong." I said truthfully and put my hands over my eyes.
"I'm sorry baby," She placed a soft kiss on my forehead before heading into the kitchen to start dinner.
I checked my phone seeing nothing from the brunette boy still and I grew even more upset.
I did miss him, for some odd reason I missed him.
"Lu?" Arzaylea snapped her fingers in front of my face.
I hadn't realised that i was staring off into space.
"I think you need to talk to someone... like a therapist or something because this isn't normal... you're always so happy and bubbly... i don't know," She frowned and set my dinner plate in front of me, "You just aren't you anymore and it's saddening me."
Oh trust me, it is saddening me too.
"Maybe," I started eating the food in front of me and looked up at her, "I'll look into it."
"Or you can talk to me about it if you want too? I'm always here."
"You wouldn't understand," I looked back down at the plate and sighed.
"What isn't there to understand i'm your fiancé, i'll understand anything you say."
"Its not like that." My voice became a lot quieter, "There would be no possible way for you to understand this."
"Okay," were her last words for the entire night. She didn't say goodnight or i love you or anything that night. Hell she didn't even sleep in the same bed as me that night. She didn't look at me or even acknowledge my existence for the rest of the night.
The next morning she was gone again and i was drowning in my own sorrow. I called into work and told them i wasn't feeling well at all. I stayed home and kept drowning myself in sad thoughts.
I sat on the couch in the same spot for hours. I stared at pretty much nothing all day.
There was a knock at my door but I ignored it because i was too sad to get up to get it.
I laid on the couch as someone knocked multiple times on my door. It started to become annoying so I slowly got off the couch.
I didn't even care about my appearance right now so i didn't try and fix it on my way to the door. But i was also too lazy to try and fix the way i looked.
All that was on my mind was "who the fuck is so desperate to see me in the middle of a work day"
I finally made it too the door and took a deep breathe not having enough strength to move my hand to open the door.
I sighed and my lazy ass finally opened the door.
"Lu." The brunette that i hadn't seen in weeks smiled.
And for the first time in weeks....
I smiled too.
