Ashton was on month eight of the pregnancy and he was in a ton of pain.

Ethan wouldn't stop kicking around, his back was killing him, and he couldn't get off work until 2 weeks before his due date.

Ashton had just started staying with me more because he needed help with a ton of things. He still had his place but his place was pretty much useless now since he stayed here most the time.

The only time he went to his apart was to get clothes and sometimes shower because he'd just mainly shower here not because he didn't shower, because that's just gross.

"Lu, i can't today i just can't," His eyes were watered as he tried to get up, "My feet are swollen, my legs hurt, Ethan won't stay still. I just can't go to work today."

"It's okay Ash, you don't have too. Just lay back down and I'll call in for you okay?" He nodded and slowly laid back down on the bed.

I quickly called into his work for him and explained the reasoning. They seemed okay with it but a little upset because they'd need to fill his spot quickly today.

Luckily it was my day off so I didn't have to worry about calling in and making my boss more upset with me. I honestly was probably on the verge of losing my job.

I went back to Ash to see him struggling to find a comfortable position. His bump was huge now so it became harder for him to get a comfortable spot.

"Lu i think i just need to go see a doctor today." He sat up again and put his hand on his stomach, "Maybe an early induction because this pain is horrible."

"Whatever you want to do," I smiled at him and helped him off the bed.

He smiled back and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Did I mention the cheek kisses became a normal thing? It just became our thing. It was cute a sweet, but it was friendly for now.

"Lu I can't." He groaned again and whined, "Fuck."

"It's okay baby, you've got this." I said and didn't even realise i had called him baby, but i guess he didn't notice either.

I quickly drove him to the doctors and we wheeled him in since he was having a hard time walking.

"I think early induction might be your best choice, i know your due date isn't for another 3 weeks but this might be for the best." Ashton nodded at him.

"Just get this thing out of me," He groaned.

"We're going to take you to the hospital and you're going to be induced and have a c section." The doctor wheeled him out and called an ambulance so we would get there quicker.

Ashton held onto my hand tightly the whole ride making my hand almost numb but I knew he needed to hold onto it for reassurance.

When we got there they quickly took him back and since it was a C-Section they wouldn't allow me in the room.

I hated it because i just wanted to be there to hold his hand and make sure he was okay.

After waiting 45 minutes they finally called me back and the first thing i saw when walking in was Baby Ethan in Ashton's arms.

"Meet our baby lu," He smiled at Ethan, "He's so precious, do you want to hold him?"

I nodded and held Ethan in my arms carefully, "Hi there Ethan, i'm your other dad." I smiled at him and he let out a small babble.

"He loves you already." Ashton said smiling at us.

"And I love him already."
