[ive been writing so much lately & i was too excited for this story so i needed to update it !! ]

Luke Hemmings

"Ashton, hey how was work?" I smiled even though he couldn't tell.

"It was fine," He didn't sound to happy, "What did you need to talk to me about?"

"I just wanted you to come over," I looked down at my feet, "If you don't want to it's fine."

"I'll come over, i'm sorry today was just super stressful." He sighed, "I sound like an ass."

"Its okay Ash. Just come over whenever, i'll have dinner! I hope you like Chinese."

"I love Chinese." I could practically hear the smile on his face, "I'll be over in 10, i'm coming in my scrubs because they're actually very comfortable."

"Okayyyy, see you soon Ashy." I hung up after he also said see you soon and called in for take out because I couldn't cook for shit.

I kept pulling down the picture frames while waiting for Ashton to show up. When i finish, i taped the box shut and took it out to our dumpster throwing it in without even hesitating. Apart of my heart broke but most of it was relieved.

I saw the familiar black car pull up and the familiar brunette get out of it.

"What are you doing out here Lu?" He locked his car and headed over to me.

"I just had to throw away some stuff, we should probably head in though. It's freezing out here."

He followed me into the apartment and put his coat on top of a chair.

"How was the appointment?"

"Horrible." I said truthfully, "I found out she's been seeing someone else. and even better the baby she's carrying isn't even mine."

"Is that why you wanted to come over?"

I nodded slowly and i felt the waterworks about to start. I didn't realise i was crying until he had his arms around me and was rubbing my back gently, "I-I just can't believe s-she did that to m-me."

"I am so sorry Lu, you don't deserve that." He pulled back a little, wiped my tears, and pushed the curly pieces of hair off my forehead, "You deserve to be treated like a king."

My face heated up and I quickly put my hands over my cheeks hoping he wouldn't notice that i was flustered.

He smiled at me and moved my hand away before placing a friendly kiss on my left cheek, "Where's that food I was promised?" He laughed a little.

"It's on its way," I said shyly and my cheeks stayed a bright rosey red.

Seconds after that, a knock was heard at the door. I made my way over to pay the man and brought the bag into the kitchen. We sat at the table and ate our delicious food while he talked about his new favorite show.

"We should binge watch it." He smiled at me.

"I've got to go to sleep so i can make it into work tomorrow," I pouted at him, "I've called in the past two days..."

"Oh man that's right." His bottom lip stuck out.

"But I can see if I can pull a little string for tomorrow," I gave him a small smile.

"You don't have to do that for me."

"I know Ash," I finished up with my food and started to clean up the trash, "But I want to spend more time with you."

"That's sweet," He smiled sweetly and helped me pick up the trash. He also wiped off the table which he didn't have to do but it was nice of him to do.

"Do you want something else to change into? So you can get out of those dirty scrubs?" I asked.

He nodded at me, "Something comfy please. Something good for cuddling."

I got him out one of my sweaters and some comfy bottoms. I didn't expect him to change right in front of me but when he did i couldn't pull my eyes away from his body. No wonder i slept with him, he's got the body of a goddess.

"Lu, you're staring." He giggled and got onto the couch with me.

Without hesitation he climbed on top of me and pressed his body against mine getting comfortable. He rested his head on my chest just below my chin while i started the show that he had been talking about.

"Lu you look so awkward," The brunette looked up at me, "If this isn't comfortable i can get off of you."

"No no, i like it i just don't know like... what to do."

"Oh my goodness lu you had a girlfriend for 3 years." He giggled, "Did you guys never cuddle?"

"We did, it's just different this time."

"Let me help you," He grabbed my arm and wrapped it around himself, "There, your arm goes there and you leggies just do whatever they please."

I nodded and kept my arm around him while the show stared. I knew I wouldn't make it through the whole night but i wanted to try since I actually did want to spend time with him.

I guess he thought I was asleep though at this point, because i felt his lips press against the bottom of my cheek and he soon got up. I didn't say anything since i knew that he would come back, and i was right. I think he had a blanket for us because it got incredibly warmer when he got back.

He positioned him self differently this time though, he laid next to me but kept his head on my arm while he held onto my lower body tight.

"Goodnight Lu," Were the last words i heard before i dozed off to sleep.

For some reason I actually felt slightly happy again.
