"Holy shit Ashton wake up." I shook the smaller boy awake and he instantly shot up.
"Baby are you okay?" He asked concerned and grabbed onto my face.
"We're late. We're late." I said hoping out of bed and quickly changing out of my sleeping clothes.
"Shit." He quickly got up too changing into his scrubs, "You can take Ethan right?"
I nodded and then quickly got him ready freaking out that we were a whole hour late.
When I arrived at the studio, Ethan was in a horrible mood and my manager was pissed at me.
"I'm sorry i stayed up so late trying to make this song perfect and i slept in this morning." I quickly explained putting Ethan on the play mat that i brought and i gave him toys to keep him busy.
"Why is he here?"
"My boyfriend has work-"
"And so do you." He said huffing, "Get your self in the room and let's start recording this song."
Ethan couldn't stop crying when i first left and i could tell everyone was getting annoyed. After recording some guitar parts i picked him up and carried him out of the room trying to calm him down. But he wouldn't stop crying and that made me start crying because of how stressed out it was making me.
His crying halted as soon as I started crying though and he just looked at me only hiccuping a little. I looked back at the small boy wiping away my tears and the ones that were left on his cheeks too.
His lips curled into a smile instantly making me smile back and kissing his forehead.
He turned into a happy little boy luckily after that and sat in the studio quietly with me as I recorded the song.
When we were listening to it Ethan danced around a little giggling making me probably the happiest person in the entire universe.
When I was able to leave I started thinking about something. I sat in the car not moving yet thinking hard.
Proposing to Ashton was on my mind. I was in a really good mood after today and maybe I could plan something out. I know he didn't like big things where all the attention was on him but he was defiantly going to get some attention.
"Ethan we're gonna go pick papa out a ring." I smiled at the boy through the rear view mirror.
We got to the small ring shop and I started looking around at all the rings. It needed to be perfect but I also kind of needed it now.
I found a perfect one sitting by its self with a pretty pricy price tag but I knew that for sure was going to be the one.
It was an open heart shaped ring.

I was lucky when they had his ring size and we're able to engrave something on the ring in just a couple hours.
I called into a nicer restaurant seeing if there was any openings for tonight and I was even happier when they said yes.

I hit send and let the way to hyper baby watch Sesame Street on my phone.
"Papa!" Ethan said when Ashton's contact came onto the screen since he was calling.
"Yeah baby that's papa now let me answer that," I took the phone from him immediately answering, "Hiii baby."
"Today was stressful," He said sadly, "Do we have to go out tonight? Like I appreciate you making plans but i really just want to stay home."
"Trust me you wanna go out tonight. It's going to be a great nice i swear. You won't feel like you had a stressful day."
"Okay Lulu, when are you coming home? I miss you." He whined and i could already tell he was pouting.
"I'll be there in like 30 minutes."
"Papa!" Ethan screamed trying to get the phone so i put it on speaker.
"Hi Ethan! I can't believe he said papa."
Ethan baby talked to Ashton for a while before we had to hang up because the ring was done.

"Luke this is so nice." He smiled holding Ethan as we walked in.
It was a nice little restaurant but i really wanted Ethan to be here when this happened. Also we had nowhere else to take him to be watched so it kind of just worked out well.
We sat at our table and Ethan colored on his colouring sheet keeping him self occupied.
"Is there a special occasion that i was unaware of today?" He looked at me suspiciously, "Oh shit is it our one year and i forgot?"
"I just wanted to take you out to a nice dinner. We haven't had one in a while." I tried to stay calm but my anxiety was rising by the second.
I was nervous to ask him because what if wasn't ready yet and said no? That would be such an embarrassment.
The longer i waited the more anxious i grew so i might as well get this over with.
"Lu what are you-" He looked confused when i got up from my side and held onto his hand.
"We've been dating for almost a year now but have defiantly known each other longer. Over the past year i've fallen for everything about you. Your eyes, your smile, your dimples, your laugh, your personality, everything about you is so amazing and loveable. I am so lucky to be dating someone as amazing as you and i'm eternally grateful. We've had a couple rough patches but that's what happens with couples right? I love you to the moon and back and around all the stars in this entire universe. I want to spend my life with you and for you to have my last name forever. Ashton Irwin will you make me the happiest person in the universe and marry me?" I got down on my knee and pulled out the heart shaped ring.
Tears were in his eyes and a small smile sat on his lips after i was done speaking. He didn't say anything at first and jumped on me hugging me tightly. He whispered into my ear, "Of course i'll marry you Lulu."
I held onto him and some people around us were cheering and saying congratulations.
I put the ring on his finger kissing his hand lightly, "Thank you so much for helping me find true love."
"Thank you for making me feel so loved and helping me find true love too."
