We ran to the elevator and i pushed 'Up' like 5,000 times before the elevator even opened. We piled inside and pushed the 3rd floor. "Why did you come with me?" I asked turning to Brandon.

"Because I have to tell you something."He stated grabbing my hand, before I could say anything else the elevator opened. I tugged my hand away from his and ran to try and find Ethan's room. 50 wrong turns later, we made it to the door where Ethan was behind.. I pushed it open and slowly walked inside. I saw my mom crying on a chair next to Ethan. Ethan was pale as snow. He had tubes running in and out of him. I ran to his side and grabbed his hand, it was ice cold.

"What happened?" I said fighting back the tears. Brandon came and hugged me from behind resting his chin on my shoulder blade.

"He woke up puking blood again. We called the ambulance, but he already passed out before they came. When we got here they said he could be in a coma for 6 months." She cried out as a few tears slide down my face as well.

"Alex, Can I talk to you outside?" Brandon asked. I nodded and let go of Ethan's hand. Brandon waved to my mom going out and I followed. I shut the door behind me and Brandon was shifting nervously.

"What did you wanna talk about?" I asked crossing my arms and leaning against the wall.

"I need to tell you my feelings."He said coming closer to me and grabbing my elbows. I shut my eyes and sighed.

"Not now Brandon, with the whole thing with Christian and Ethan, I just don't have time for guys no more."I said. He sighed and let go of my elbows.

"Fine." He said turning around and leaving.

"Brandon!"I yelled grabbing his shoulder. He nudged me off and turned around.

"Don't touch me. I get it ok? But I'm not gonna be here for you when you need to talk to someone who knows. I'm just not gonna care anymore." He said shrugging. He turned back around and left. As soon as he was out of my sight, I leaned against the wall, sliding down hugging my knees. I sobbed as silently as I could not wanting anyone to hear. Why does everything bad happen to me?

After awhile of just sitting there, I got up and went into Ethan's room. Mom finally fell asleep. I walked over to the chair beside Ethan and held his hand again. "Don't leave me Ethan, please." I beg as a few tears slide down my cheek. "I need you here with me. You knew all of my secrets and you loved me through them. You're so young, yet you were my best friend. Please don't leave me Ethan." I begged as a waterfall of tears streamed down my face.

"Alex, please don't cry." That little voice said. I looked at Ethan and he smiled weakly. He gripped my hand tighter and I screeched hugging him. Mom jolted awake and gasped, hugging him also. Doctors started piling in and getting him on medication. They told us to wait in the hall, while they did some tests.

"Why dont you go home? You've had a rough day already." Mom smiled. I smiled back as she handed me the keys. I walked over to the elevator and pressed the button. It opened up and I came face to face with someone who I never wanted to see. When that elevator opened I came face to face with Christian Moore.
