We got home shortly after. Brandon unhooked my seat belt and picked me up bridal style to my house. "Did your mom say it was okay to come over?" I asked against his chest. He chuckled and nodded. My mom opened the door for us.
"You kids are cute." My grandma cooed.
"Grandma!" I yelled looking at her as Brandon put me down.
"I'm just saying the truth." She said putting her hands up in surrender.
Brandon chuckled and put his arm around my waist. "I love you." He whispered in my ear.
"Your an idiot." I flirted kissing him on the cheek.
"Only for you." He said grabbing my hand and leading me to the couch. Brandon sat down on the couch and I sat on his lap.
"So next week.." He trailed off.
"Don't remind me. It's graduation." I said.
"Yea and I have something to ask you." He said leaning in. He rested his forehead on mine.
"And what would that be?" I smiled leaning back a little.
"Well madam," He started getting down on one knee. "I have love you since day one-" He started but got cut off by my phone ringing.
"Hello?" I said answering it.
"Alex! Thank gosh I reached you. You need to come to the hospital. Quick! Room 2248." A lady said over the phone.
"Who was that?" Brandon asked alarmed.
"I have no idea, but I think we need to go to the hospital." I said looking at my phone.
"Well then let's go." He said standing me up. I put my phone in my back pocket and ran to the door, Brandon following closely behind.
"Mom! Brandon and I are going to the hospital. Be back soon." I said before shutting the door. I gave Brandon the keys and I got in the passenger seat.
~~~~~We pulled up I front of the hospital and Brandon slammed the brakes. I got out and ran to the front desk. She gave us directions where room 2248 is. I saw Andrea, Alice, and some other cheerleaders. I pushed the door opened and on the bed laid Amy. Brandon gasped and ran to her side,
"What happened?" He asked his mom, who was sitting in a chair beside Amy, who was stroking her hair.
"She was driving home from cheer practice and a drunk driver hit her."
