Taylor's P.O.V
I inspect the wound made by Argentum. Evie walks casually back into the room and I look at her in disbelief.
"Evie," I look her in the eyes and she knows what I am asking.
"Y-yes?" she stutters, looking down at her shoes.
"Why are you upset?" she curses under her breath, I know her too much for her liking.
"Personal reasons..." panic flashes across her face.
"I will be back," I whisper in Leo's ear, finishing tending to him.
I walk up the stairs and into Evie's room. I sit on the bed and wait for her to follow my actions. She storms into the room and flops down onto the bed.
"Tell me everything," I urge gently, giving her an encouraging smile.
"Xavier Clark is coming to our school," she explains, huffing.
"Well you shouldn't be afraid of him," I attempt to calm her down. "but if it is

"Good girl," I kiss her head and sit with her until her breathing evens.
I walk down to find Leo also asleep on the couch where I left him. I don't understand why I was given such a mate, he is too good for me. I walk towards him and trail my fingers lightly down his cheek, I let a small smile appear on my face. I plan to take him on a date and we can get to know each other as we only know the basics like name and rumours about each other. It is too little for both my and my wolf's liking, while she wants to know about all his previous relationships I am fine with going without that information.
I watch as Leo's eyes slowly open and he sits up, taking in his surrounding. His eyes land on me and I a warm and fuzzy feeling ignites under his gaze. I clear my throat and take a step back.
"Be ready in 20 minutes, your clothes are on the guest room bed," I inform him, gesturing down the hall.
He nods stiffly and shuffles in the direction of the guest room, bumping my shoulder. I shiver from the pleasure of his touch, the tingles, the fireworks.
I sigh before climbing the stairs to hopefully learn more about this man.

I realise you may be mad at me... But in my defence high school is hard and well, I am not exactly the most organised person... So, I got time to settle down and get everything settled.
