Graham stared down at the photos that had been thrown about his desk. Looking for any detail that might help him further understand what was going on with this case. A sudden knock on the door made him leave behind the mindset of the killer for a moment as the Good Doctor entered the room.
"How are things going?" Lecter asked. Will shook his head rubbing his eyes for a moment.
"The death of the three is the easy part but Elia is what I don't understand." He moved away from the desk trying to distance himself just for a moment. "The men were punished for something. they had betrayed their leader they did something that was only punishable by death." Will sighed. "But she wasn't part of it, at least not in the same way. Forensic looked at the contents in her stomach and do you know what they found?"
"What?" Lecter asked watching Graham closely now.
"Human flesh." His voice began to shake showing how upset he was by the detail. "She was fed human."
"Do you think she is aware?"
"No, and if she is that might be part of the reason for her hysteria." Lecter looked to his watch for a moment.
"I'm sorry to cut things short but I have an appointment to keep."
"Elia?"
"Yes."
"Progress?" Lecter smiled
"Sorry doctor patient confidentiality." With that the Hannibal left Will to his work.

Lecter walked into his office to find Elia already there in her usual spot all curled up and staring out the window.
"Sorry to keep you waiting Ellie." She simply gave him a small shrug as he closed the door.
"What would you like to talk about today?"
She bit her lip as he could tell she was thinking over her words slowly like saying the wrong one might be the death of her.
"Ellie you're safe here. Anything you say here can't be told to anyone else unless you let me."
"What if someone tourtres you?"
He smiled sitting down across from her. "Not even if someone tortures me." He took out his book and looked to her with a straight face. "Now, where shall we begin?"
Elia shrugged once more. "Where do most stories start? I was born."
"If that's where you want this story to begin."
"It's not though." She snapped.
"There where does it begin?"
"When my mother gave me up."
"To whom?"
Elia shifted around slightly before starting to fidget with her sleeve. "My mother said he was my uncle, but I doubt he was."
"Why is that?"
"Because even though I was five I never recalled seeing photos of him or meeting him before then."
"Tell me more Ellie."
"He said I was special, chosen for a very special reason. That's when I met his 'followers' they called themselves the Awakened."
"Was your uncle part of a cult?"
Elia turned away. "I don't want to talk about this anymore." she whimpered.
"Alright, I wont force you to talk about it Ellie."
She got up heading for the door. "Ellie, I'll meet you downstairs and we'll go." Lecter called to the girl, though she didn't really seem to respond. The Good Doctor wrote down a few notes before locking up his office to meet the red haired girl in the lobby.

After sometime of shopping the two had returned home. Elia went upstairs to her room and stripped the bed quickly changing out the old sheets with the new dark red sheets. Hannibal on the other hand was down in the kitchen cooking dinner. The smell of food began to fill the house and even invaded Elia's room, however she didn't come down when he called to her.
Lecter went to investigate the reason. Elia was laying on the floor holding a book fast asleep. He smiled a bit taking the book slipping a card into the pages to keep her place. then sat it down on the desk. Hannibal picked her up and placed her upon the bed. Then turned getting out some pajamas. Carefully her removed her shirt then stopped once he saw her skin. Elia's side had scars upon them. Lecter hesitated but rolled her over. Deep cuts littered her back circling until they met making a symbol that resembled something found in satanic setting. "Oh Ellie." he whispered and gently dressed her.
He tucked her in snuggly and sat at her side for a few minutes.
Elia's eyes opened half way. "What's going on?" she whispered.
"You fell asleep. Go back to bed Ellie. I put you in something to sleep in."
"Did you see them?" he almost wanted to say no but knew it wasn't going to help if he lied.
"Yes."
Elia nodded a bit and closed her eyes. "Good night Lecter."
"Goodnight Ellie." He said before kissed her forehead and left the girl to sleep.
