Maybe it was to get attention, but something within Elia snapped. Looking down at the spead flesh she felt a strange sense of pride. Hell the part of her that held reason was slowly blurring into nothingness. Blood began to consume the white porcelain of the sink. Though let us go back to what pushed her to this.
3 pm.
Elia pushed herself into the overly stuffed pillows that she had tossed upon the floor earlier in the day. As usual the good doctor was gone. Helping Will with another case leaving her to her own thoughts. For a short time at least.
Even with things to distract herself something was off. An eerie feeling slipped over causing her to shift her position frequently in some attempt to free herself from it. From the eyes that followed her every move. It didn't take long for her fears to be confirmed when glass shattered. The teen ran quickly to seek out this change in her environment even if she didn't wish to see it.
She felt her stomach drop when all of her nightmares came to be. There before her stood her Uncle. He smiled opening his arms to her. "Can I get a hug?" He asked with a cruel tone as if he were mocking her. Elia ran quickly hearing his footsteps behind her. Of course he could keep pace he had before all the other times she had ran from him, why would this be any different?
Judgment wasn't part of this equation it was basic instinct.
Slamming the door behind herself and quickly locking it the teen knew it wouldn't take long for him to find a way to enter. Tears started to run from her eyes uncontrollably. She was hysterical she just need to get away. She needed to save herself.
A frantic search for a weapon began but all she could locate was a razor blade she often used to shave her legs. Elia began to hyperventilate as the thought came to mind 'he can't take the dead.' It was strange to feel the heat of her own blood run down her flesh when the metal made it's way through but the pounding within her chest didn't end. As her Uncle's words form the other side of the door fade with the rest of the world a dread came over her. How would The good doctor react to her actions?
This was answered within her time of fading in and out of darkness. Him repeating her name trying to keep her awake while loud noises echoed around the room. The movement of being taken away from the house to a place that smelt of bleach a death. The hospital seemed foreign since her last visit, but her thoughts were far from this place as sleep set in.
