"jung hoseok and hye jung. is there anything that you guys would like to tell me?"

hoseok rocked back and forth on his chair, like a baby in the cradle. even in this situation, the boy still hummed his favorite part in the theme song of sesame street. he wasn't oblivious to the tension currently, he was just- well, too glam to care.

hye jung, well, was a nervous wreck. both inside and outside, she was shaking violently, probably thinking about how to break out from ms. kang's office or to just call the police and beg for mercy.

she thought about what her parents would say, about how she would live the rest of her life, whether or not she could still go to college, if kim jong un would send the bomb to the u.s., if the illuminati was real.

hands clasped tightly together, she gave a shy glance at jung hoseok.

he waved.

"JUNG HOSEOK AND HYE JUNG. i'll ask you this one more time." ms. kang leaned in close to the two teens. "is there anything you want to tell me?"

jung hoseok gave the most brightest smile a homo sapiens could give. "no, ma'am! there's nothing we want to tell you!"

shit, hoseok.

before ms. kang could take his comment to the wrong way, hye jung stood up. she was going to take the sacrifice for the two of them.

"ma'am, yes, i have something to tell you. none of this relates to uh- that kid there." once again, hoseok waved.

ms. kang raised her eyebrows. "no, hye jung, i know for a matter of fact th-"

"I ACCIDENTALLY WALKED INTO THE BOY'S BATHROOM WHEN I WAS EXCUSED AND THEN HOSEOK IN WAS IN IT SO I HAD TO PRETEND TO BE A BOY THAT HAD DIARRHEA AND HOSEOK (being an angel) GOT DIARRHEA MEDICINE FOR ME, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT HE KNEW I WAS A GIRL SO WHEN HE GAVE IT TO ME, I WAS SHOCKED- and yeah that's why there's a red mark on his face."

hye jung turned to hoseok and kneeled down in front of him. "sorry, man."

hoseok patted her head. "no worries~"

ms. kang cleared her throat, then awkwardly stared at the two teens socialize.

"uh, well, hye jung, it must have taken a great deal of courage to admit all of that, mhm. however, this has nothing to do with the bathroom incident."

hoseok and hye jung stared. then hye jung realized.

"OH SHI-"

ms. kang put two tests in front of the classmates, one in front of each teen.

the teacher sighed. "both of you guys drew hippos on my multiple choice test instead of bubbling in the correct answers."

hye jung and hoseok stared at each other.

the boy gave his new friend a high five. "WE THINK ALIKE!"

hye jung stood up. "ma'am, please understand- i- he-"

ms. kang shook her head. "no, hye jung. you two need to have a punishment in order to prevent this from happening again."

hoseok crossed his arms and stomped his feet. "darn it."

"so, hye jung, you and your new friend here, as a punishment-"

"-will clean the school bathrooms together after-school."
