and, yes.
once again, the same two teens were sitting in ms. kang's office. everything seemed the same as the last time they were there, as if they had time travelled to before they were all involved in this mess.
expect that there was an angry parent in between them.
mrs. jung crossed her arms and impatiently tapped her feet, waiting for an explanation from ms. kang, who was also rather scared and confused.
the girl and boy?
hoseok was happily humming his usual sesame street song while sniffing the pad pack he had bought, while hye jung was counting the number of hair strands she had on her head, trying to hold in all the blood from her period.
"well? i am waiting for my explanation of why my son did not return home yesterday from school and why he was found in walgreens buying pads with his emergency money, not adding that he ran and almost got hit by a car when he saw me."
hoseok gave a thumbs up.
ms. kang shifted her weight on the chair, showing obvious signs of fear. "y-you se-"
"yes?"
ms. kang gave a deep breath and opened out her hands out to the mother, as if trying to explain. "your son and this-" she gestured to the girl who was currently on hair strand #217, "- young lady here drew hippos on their tests instead of filling in the correct answers."
ms. kang dug in her desk pocket and gave the mother two test packets. mrs. jung accepted the packets and examined the hippos her son and the girl drew.
mrs. jung patted hye jung on the back. "you really have artistic skill."
hye jung then clapped her hands (releasing hair strand #302) and gasped loudly. she then tapped hoseok on the back and whispered, "can i steal your mom?"
ms. kang shook her head. "mrs. jung, please understand that drawing hippos is unacceptable in this classroom, and after talking with the other teachers, we decided to give them a punishment to prevent this from happening later on."
mrs. jung nodded.
"we decided to make them clean the school bathrooms."
suddenly, children begin to scream. tears are streaming down mrs. jung's face, hye jung and hoseok start playing rock paper scissors, and god from above shakes his head.
"MA'AM. this is the punishment that you give my child? you should be ashamed of yourself. i feel pity for hoseok and this- this girl here."
ms. kang laughs nervously. "uh, and to our greatest disappointment, the janitor locked these two children in the school."
mrs. jung screamed, horrified. she looked at the teens, who were currently fighting about how scissors could cut through rock, but only if they were diamond.
the mother stood up. she had enough of this. "THIS SCHOOL IS SHI- turd. I AM TAKING THESE CHILDREN AWAY, AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL, AWAY FROM THE BATHROOMS, AWAY FRO-"
"wait!" ms. kang said, reaching out for the mother who had just taken the teens by the hand and started heading out the door.
ms. kang sighed. "mrs. jung, i'm sorry for what the school did, but the reason why i wanted to talk to you was because- well, your son, jung hoseok, had thrown a rock at our school window, which counts as destruction of school property- which is against the school rules."
mrs. jung was about to blurt out a bunch of roasts, but ms. kang beat her.
"your son, jung hoseok, is expelled from this school."
