hye jung stared blankly at her phone, trying to process what just happened in her head. ha, as if she didn't have enough to worry about.

the girl sighed, and plopped on top of the jung's family guest bed. comfy enough, but she still didn't know what she was doing here.

"HYE JUNG~" a voice sang behind her closed door.

hye jung sighed. not again.

"hoseok, you may not come in-"

hoseok had already karate kicked the door (which bursted open), wobbled, yelped and immediately ran over to sit beside hye jung with the contagious smile on his face. his hair was still a little messy from the "accident" a few hours ago, and his eyes was still a little puffy from all that crying, too. the smile made it up for all those depressing-looking features, though.

hye jung found herself smiling. "hoseok, why did you just kick the door? there's a knob for a reason."

hoseok pouted, and stood up with his arms outstretched like the power rangers. "BECAUSE..... WE'RE GOING TO DRAW TOGETHER!" he looked expectedly at hye jung, as if he wanted her to start clapping and throw roses and kiss his feet.

he then revealed two blank pieces of paper and a box of limited edition sparkly crayons.

hye jung furrowed her eyebrows. i mean, she could draw a gorgeous frog, but she wasn't the best drawer in the world. she didn't want to humiliate herself in front of hoseok.

but no one can resist hoseok, can they?

"uh... su-"

"OH MY GOSH, THANK YOU MUCH FOR DRAWING WITH ME!" screeched hoseok, nearly suffocating his friend with a hug.

after a few more exchanges of aggressive "thank you's" and "you're fucking welcome, get off me's", the two were seen peacefully drawing their own creations on their papers with limited edition sparkly crayons.

hye jung sniffed and stared at her frog. it looked a bit mutated, especially with the purple tongue (hoseok was using the red), so she decided to ignore that and look at hoseok's picture.

truth be told, she had absolutely no idea what he was drawing.

"hoseok? what are you drawing?" she asked, partly amused and partly curious.

hoseok slammed his crayon on his lap, nearly ripping his paper.

"I FORGOT TO TELL YOU! I'M DRAWING MY IMAGINARY FRIEND, SPORKLE!" he said, shouting in hye jung's ear.

she raised her eyebrows. "sporkle? like in sparkle but with an o?"

hoseok nodded vigorously. "SHAPEWISE, HE'S PART CAT, PART DONKEY, BUT-" he lowered his voice- "no one knows that he's also part elephant except me and you!"

hye jung sniffed and stared at his paper. indeed, mr. sporkle seemed to take shape.

on the corner of her eye, she saw the boy looking at her with sparkling eyes.

she smiled. "what does sporkle eat?"

hoseok thought for a second. "LOLLIPOPS!"

"AHA!" hye jung said, and dug in her pockets for the second time in the day. this time, she made sure she didn't give him another toilet paper heart.

she held out a root-bear yum yum. "HOSEOK! LOOK!"

hoseok stood there, eyes first turning alarmed and then blank after seeing the yum yum. then he smiled and reached out for it.

"THANK YOU SO MUCH!" he looked at it. "why root beer, though?"

hye jung crossed her arms. "root beer yum yums are my favorite! they're so much better than the cotton candy flavored ones, to be honest."

hoseok nodded quietly and continued coloring his mr. sporkle. hye jung, again, didn't want to touch her frog, so she decided to sit there quietly.

he was still sucking on the lollipop and fiddling with the yum yum wrapper, aggressively coloring sporkle's purple fur.

hye jung closed her eyes for a second and yawned. when she reopened her eyes, the wrapper was gone.

she wanted hoseok to stay a bit more longer, but instead, he stood up and collected his crayons right after he finished coloring sporkle's eyes. the lollipop was still dangling from his mouth.

before hye jung could say anything, hoseok whispered to her, "check under your pillow!" then he smiled innocently and ran away with a smile glued onto his face.

hye jung furrowed her eyebrows and checked under her pillow.

she laughed at the sight.

a heart made of a root beer yum yum wrapper, and a note that said "now i'm your hubby!"
