Chapter 5

CHAPTER 5 IS HERE! Hope you enjoy it and I also hope you enjoyed the story so far. Ethan will be part of the story soon, so don't worry ;)

*Back to Luna's P.O.V., the main P.O.V.*

I've been waiting for Raina to come home for a while now, I was kinda worried because she's been gone for so long and didn't answer any texts. I hope she was just enjoying her date with Grayson. Deep in my thoughts, I heard the door open and saw Raina come in. She looked genuinely happy.

"Hey! Oh my god how are you?? How was the date?? Did he-." Raina cut me off.

R: "Boo, shut up for a second alright? I was gonna tell you everything but you need to calm down first, okay? Are we calm now?" She said laughing with her hands on my shoulders, trying to calm me down. I pushed Raina to the couch after I hugged her and waited for her to start talking.

R: "I'll start with the moment he picked me up and will tell you everything to the point I came back home. As you know, Grayson picked me up at 7. He brought me a white rose, my favorite flower. I wonder if he knew about that, but he couldn't know though"

Of course he knew it's her favorite flower, Raina wasn't the only one texting Grayson but I won't tell her. I just helped him a little because he was nervous as hell. Grayson and I actually became friends, he's fun to talk to. But of course I kept my eyes on Ethan, I wanted to meet him too. But I already said that before. Also Grayson belongs to Raina in my opinion, they're so cute.

R: "Anyways, we drove to the restaurant. Grayson was the perfect gentleman, he held the door open for me and everything, no one ever did that for me. We sat down and Grayson asked if it's okay if he orders for both of us, he said he planned something special for us. Grayson then told the waiter to make the surprise dinner for us he told them to make. I was kinda nervous because I would've felt so bad if it was something I didn't like. But guess what? It was Shrimp Alfredo, my most favorite food! And the dessert was strawberry ice-cream and a piece of chocolate cake, it was soooo good. Anyways, the food wasn't the best part of our date even though it was amazing. I offered to pay for myself but he already did that while I went to the bathroom to check my make up. We left the restaurant around 9.30 but I didn't want the date to end already. We drove off from the restaurant and Grayson asked me if I wanted to take a walk on the beach and I mean, there's no better way to end a date than with a walk on the beach."

I also told Grayson about how much Raina loves the beach, I guess he used that piece of information really well.

R: "We had the whole beach to ourselves and it was beautiful. The sky was clear with a lot of stars and we had a really good conversation. He even took my hand after a few minutes and it was the cutest thing because Grayson acted so shy while he tried to take it until he finally did. I think while I was on the beach with Gray, we really connected on an emotional level. Like, I think we kind of did before too, but on the beach we really did. It was just a walk on the beach yet it was the most perfect thing to do. I don't wanna say this already but I think I'm falling for him, really hard. I just hope he feels the same about me."

*Raina's phone beeps*

"Is it Grayson?"

R: " Yes it is, he said it was a really beautiful Date and hopes to see me again soon!"

"Oh my god he likes you!"

R: "You think so?"

"OF COURSE, I KNOW"

I actually really knew because I've been texting Grayson while Raina was talking to me. She probably didn't even notice I was on my phone because she was too deep in her thoughts about the date and Grayson. Grayson himself told me about his feelings he has so far for Raina and they go deeper every minute. He actually told me the exact same thing. I really hope they'll tell each other about their feelings when the time's right. If Raina won't tell him, I will but secretly and tell him to confess his feelings for her.

R: "Are you listening boo?" Raina asked. Oh shit, I wasn't. Let's just try to play it cool I guess.

"Of course!"

R: "Okay, well. Anyways, we drove back here after the beach and he walked me to our door.."

"OH MY GOD, DID HE KISS YOU? PLEASE SAY YES"

R: "Yes he did! He was so shy about it and even asked me first if it's okay. It was the cutest thing. And girl, those lips.."

"Alright enough, don't wanna go further inside your dirty mind." We both laughed, talked for a bit more and decided to watch a movie. We went to bed around 2 in the morning, which was actually normal for us. Both Raina and I never went to bed before midnight. We both just liked the nighttime. I mean, what's there to hate about it? The night is beautiful. The darkness is so mysterious, yet beautiful. The stars and the moon mean a lot to me, they guide me through the dark. That's why I usually call Raina "star". Because she's been guiding me through good and bad, I could always count on her, day and night. I never had a friend like this before and I didn't even meet her until a few days ago, even though we've been talking for years. It always felt like I've known her for way longer. Only a few months after we started talking, we made the plan to move to LA. And at that time I also knew I want her as my best friend forever. She's such a better friend than anyone else I used to call my "friend". I'm glad I got rid of those toxic friendships, they caused me nothing but pain and worry, things I don't want in my life anymore. Raina will forever be someone I trust 100%. It's usually hard for me to trust people, but it was so easy to trust her. I have no idea why but it just happened.

*Grayson P.O.V.*

I dropped Raina off at her place, gave her a good night kiss and drove back home. It was a beautiful, almost magical date and I really wanna go on another date with her. Well, not just one more, I'd love to go on a million more dates with such a perfect girl.

I got home and Ethan was waiting for me in the living room. Ethan and Luna, who became a friend of mine, were so happy about this date and he wanted to know everything. Ethan was probably doing the same thing to me that Luna was doing to Raina right now: Asking a million questions. I answered his questions because I knew he wouldn't stop if I didn't. Honestly, I think Ethan would like Luna, maybe I should set them up. Ethan hasn't been in love in years and he deserves to be loved. Not only by friends and family members. I know he wants a relationship, he just doesn't show or admit it. Also Luna told me her last relationship didn't go well and she'd be happy to have someone who treats her right. We've been talking so much those last few days, almost as much as Raina and I did. We had a lot of deep, meaningful conversations and Luna's already a close friend to me, even though we only met a few days ago. She's a great person but a lot of people did her dirty and as little as I know about her, I can tell she's been through a lot and deserves to be happy.

*Back to Luna's P.O.V.*

I was laying down in bed, it was almost 2.30 in the morning now but I wasn't tired. I was on my phone, just scrolling through Instagram and Twitter when I got a text.

2:33am *Unknown Number*: "Hey Luna :)"

"New phone who dis"

End of chapter 5! Who just texted Luna? Someone from her past? Maybe someone new? You'll find out soon ;) Hope you enjoyed this chapter! I think it's the longest one so far but I don't really know. Chapter 6 will be up as soon as possible because I really enjoy writing at the moment.
