Chapter 6

2:34am "Who's this"

2:36am *unknown number*: It's Ethan

WHAT? No, this can't be real, it can't be Ethan. I need to make sure it's him before I freak out.

2:37am "Ethan who?"

2:39am Ethan: Dolan

2:41am "Oh, how'd you get my number?"

2:42am Ethan: I got it from from Gray, hope it's okay :)

2:43am "Yeah, sure. It's fine"

OH. MY. GOD. JESUS. CHRIST. Is this real? Why would Ethan text me?

2:45am Ethan: I wanted to get to know you since Gray told me a lot about you and you seem great :)

2: 46am "Oh really? Haha thank you. From what I heard about you, you seem great too"

2:47am Ethan: Oh thank you. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime?

2:48am "Yeah sure, just tell me when and where"

2:49am Ethan: What about tomorrow at 4? At the park?

I can't believe I'm going to hang out with Ethan tomorrow. WHEN DID MY LIFE TURN UPSIDE DOWN? Just a few days ago I was a normal 17 year old from a small town around London. But now I'm a 17 year old, living in Los Angeles with my best friend, in a beautiful apartment, with a nice job and two amazing new friends. Suddenly I love my life so much I don't even know how to describe this feeling.

2:50am "Sounds great. I'm glad you don't wanna meet up in the morning because I wouldn't be able to get up haha"

2:51am Ethan: Yeah, it's pretty late I didn't even think you were still up. I was really surprised"

2:52am "Jet lag messed up my sleeping schedule, I need a few more days to adjust haha"

2:53am Ethan: Yeah Gray told me you just moved here, do you like LA?

2:54am "So far I really love it here :)"

2:55am Ethan: Well, I hope after tomorrow at the park you'll like it even more :) The park's really beautiful

2:56am "Do you want me to bring food or something ? Or maybe my best friend Raina and you bring Gray? The four of us could have a picnic"

I wanted to spend some time alone with him, but I was nervous and scared I'd be awkward  around him and I kind of needed Raina with me to stay calm.

2:57am Ethan: Yeah let's both bring some food, drinks and those two lovebirds. I'll take a blanket with me too so we have somewhere to sit.

2:58am "Alright haha, see you tomorrow then :) good night"

2:59am Ethan: Good night Luna :)

It's 3am and I'm wide awake. A few minutes before Ethan texted me, I was slowly starting to fall asleep but when I got that text and found out it's him, I started to freak out on the inside. Never ever did I imagine this happening to me and I'm just so happy it did happen.

*The next day*

Even though I fell asleep at some point after 4am, I was wide awake around 9.30 in the morning. I heard Raina in the kitchen, probably making pancakes for us. I loved the food she made for us, it was soooo good. I ran up to her and hugged her but she just stood there with a confused look on her face. I had the biggest smile on my face and she asked what was going on. I told her everything from last night and we freaked out together in the kitchen. Our neighbors probably thought we were being murdered but honestly I don't care. Today was going to be one of the best days of my life and I was just so happy. We had breakfast and it's now 11 in the morning after we cleaned up the kitchen together. I had no idea what to wear for our picnic with Ethan and Gray and I had 5 hours left to decide. Raina took a shower and I started looking through our closet. I found a really cute dress but it wasn't mine so I had to ask Raina first if I could borrow it. She got out of the shower and I had to ask her now so in case she says no I still had enough time to find something else. I walked up to Raina and held the beautiful rosé colored summer dress in my hands, asking her if I could wear it today.

R: "Of course boo, I bet you look better in it than I do"

"THANK YOU SO MUCH, I NEED TO TAKE A SHOWER AND DO MY MAKE UP AND-"

R: "LUNA!"

"Huh?"

R: "CALM DOWN OKAY, YOU'RE WAY TOO STRESSED AGAIN. STOP TALKING ALREADY AND GET IN THE SHOWER" She laughed and pushed me towards the bathroom.

"Geez calm your ass Raina, I'm gonna take a shower now." I laughed and closed the bathroom door. About an hour later I came out wearing the dress but I didn't do my make up yet since Raina and I wanted to help each other doing it.

R: "Boo you look gorgeous, you don't even need any make up!"

"I'm not taking any chances Raina haha, but I thought I just wanted to use a little bit of make up anyways. A little mascara, lipstick and a bit of concealer and powder."

R: "You don't need help with that, do you?"

"Nah, I'm good. Do you need help with anything?"

R: "Not really, I'm gonna use just a little bit of make up too, it's just a picnic. Should we start making some food now?"

"Yeah, we don't have that much time left."

We started making some sandwiches and cut some fruit into smaller pieces so we'll be able to eat them. It was now 3.30pm and we had to leave in about ten minutes. My handy were sweaty and shaking, my heart was racing. I was so damn nervous but I don't think there's a reason to. I mean, it's just a picnic with my best friends, a guy who's a good friend of mine already and his twin brother I was going to meet for the first time. Nothing to be nervous about right? Wrong I guess because I was still more than nervous.. It was time to leave and Raina had to carry the food to the car. I'm sure I would've dropped it while walking down the stairs. And I was right. At then end of the stairs I tripped and almost fell to the ground. I need to calm down. Breathe in, breathe out Luna. It's just a picnic.

*Ethan's P.O.V.*

Gray and I have been here for 5 minutes and it's now exactly 4pm. Gray told me Luna would be totally my type and I don't know why but I was kinda nervous because of that. People don't believe it but I'm actually pretty shy when talking to girls. I didn't even know her but from the things Gray told me about her, Luna seemed like a great person.

G: "Hey E, there they are"

Gray showed me a picture of Raina so I knew which one was Luna. And oh my freaking god, she's...
