Chapter 9

Chapter 9 is here! :) I hope you like it!

Today's Sunday and it's the most boring day I've had in a while. I got up around 1pm since I came home really late last night and couldn't sleep after last night's events, also the conversation with Raina lasted longer than I thought. We went to bed when the sun started to rise, around 5 or 6 in the morning. I don't really remember it. Ethan had been texting me all morning while I was sleeping and it was the cutest because he thought something was wrong since I didn't reply. We've been texting ever since I got up and our conversation never got boring. I asked him several times what we will do tomorrow but all he ever said was "it's a surprise Luna, be patient". I mean, I love surprises but there's one thing I hate and it's being patient. I'm a chill person but I'm not someone who's patient. I don't have another choice though.

*later that day*

Raina and I made dinner together when the doorbell rang. We were both pretty much just confused about it because we didn't expect anyone this late on a Sunday. I went to open the door but there was no one outside. Instead, there was just a small box laying on the doormat, wrapped in some wrapping paper with a red bow and a rose laying on it. I picked it up, curious to find out what it was. Raina came to the living where I placed the box on the table.

R: "What is that?"

"I have no idea, there was no one at the door, just this little box"

R: "Let's just open it I guess"

There was a small card on it and it said

For Luna. A little something for tomorrow. I know how much you like stars and the night, so I hope you like this too. If you do, I hope you'll wear it.

I opened the box and there was a gorgeous necklace inside. It was silver with a small star and cute little diamonds on it. OH MY GOSH NO HE DIDN'T! Why is he being so damn cute?! We didn't even go on a date yet and he already got me something. I'd never expect him to, but he's being so thoughtful and cute, I will keep this small necklace forever.

R: "Awww, oh my god! He totally likes you!"

"I hope, because I sure like him a lot"

R: "He wouldn't have done this if he didn't like you boo"

"Hopefully you're right. Can you help me decide what to wear? I have no idea what to wear. It has to make the necklace look even more gorgeous even though that's probably impossible"

R: "Don't worry, we'll find something beautiful for you"

A little later we found a really pretty little black dress and again, it wasn't mine. Raina said I could wear it since she was going to wear a red dress of mine tomorrow. I told her she didn't have to ask me whenever she wanted to wear something from my part of the closet.

*Monday*

I couldn't sleep all night and Raina was up most of the night too. We just stayed on the couch together, one of us on each side, and watched some movies together. Every now and then we fell asleep but never for long. Around 10am we decided to just get up and go get some breakfast and take a nap later so we wouldn't be tired tonight. We went to drive around and look for a pancake place, soon we found one.

R: "Do you need anything else for tonight besides the dress?"

"Maybe a new lipstick and shoes, I don't know. But a lipstick for sure"

R: "Let's get one after breakfast then? Or not?"

"Yeah, I don't wanna go home again already. I wanna see LA, get to know my new home a bit"

R: "Me too"

Raina and I went to the mall and I found the perfect lipstick really quick. We decided to drive around for a bit and after an hour, we found a beautiful beach. Since we had plenty of time left until our dates, we wanted to spend some time enjoying the sun. After a few hours of tanning and cracking stupid jokes, Raina and I went back home because it was already 3:45pm. Raina and I got home around 5 and since her date was a little earlier, she got ready first. Two hours later, Gray came and picked her up and I was left alone. I felt way more nervous than before and I was walking around the apartment for a whole hour, I couldn't just sit down. My hands were shaking and I checked my make up every 5 seconds, whenever I walked past a mirror. At 8:01pm the doorbell rang and I tried to catch my breath after running to the door before opening it. Behind the door there was a really handsome Ethan standing with really beautiful flowers in his hands.

E: "Hey Luna" He gave me the flowers and I hugged him.

"Hey Ethan! I'm gonna put them in some water real quick, we can leave in a minute"

E: "No need to rush, we've got plenty of time. We have to drive for a bit anyways"

"Oh really? Where are we going?"

E: "Told you it was a surprise"

"Just like the necklace. Thank you, it's a really beautiful one"

E: "I'm glad you like it, I wasn't sure if you even wanted it since it's just our first date. But I saw it and I thought it was perfect for you"

"It is perfect, thank you so much. Let's go now, I'm ready"

E: "So am I. By the way, you look really beautiful tonight Luna. I'm a lucky one to have you as my date."

I just smiled at him, I was still really nervous but also really happy to go on the date with Ethan. We went to his car and started driving. After about 30 minutes, he stopped.

"Where are we?"

E: "Not there yet. I want you to put this blindfold on. Do you trust me enough to do this?" For some odd reason I did. Usually, I'd have a lot of problems with trusting someone. But it's somehow different with him.

"I do"

He put the blindfold on me. After what felt like 20 minutes, he stopped again. I can't tell where we are since I don't even know what time it is. But I felt safe with Ethan, I felt like nothing could hurt me.

"Are we there?"

E: "We are. I'm getting out of the car now. I'll open your door and help you walk to the place where I'm taking you. Are you ready Luna?"

"I was never more ready"

I heard his door open and close before I heard mine open and felt a hand on mine. Ethan guided me but it was still weird to walk and not see anything. After a few minutes of walking, even down some stairs, we stopped somewhere.

E: "Are you ready to see where we are?"

"Of course, take the blindfold off already!" I said excitedly.

E: "Here you go"

Ethan removed the blindfold and covered my eyes with his hands for a few more seconds.

E: "1... 2... 3..." and he finally removed his hands..
