Chapter 19

This one's a little different because I've decided to fast forward to a few years later, otherwise this story would have 500 chapters or something one day and I think no one wants that and I don't want that either. Enjoy anyways :)

* A little over 4 years later, Valentine's day*

Raina and Grayson had been together for more than 4 years now and they've been inseparable ever since. Raina and I don't live together anymore, both of us moved in with our significant other. But we live next to each other because nothing will separate us and Ethan and Gray can't live without each other either. Ethan and I had been living together for almost two years now and it's been amazing with him. He would surprise me with little things all the time, even if it was just a flower like the one he gave me when he asked me to be his girlfriend or just a day at the beach. It's the little things he does that I adore. Today's Valentine's day, our fourth one as boyfriend and girlfriend. Ethan always did the cutest things and every year, he would write a letter to express his love for me because he still gets a little shy sometimes and can't tell me those words face to face. I have a huge box under our bed with every single memory he gave me. Pictures, letters, little presents and the bear he gave me 4 years ago has been sitting in our bedroom ever since we moved in together. Every time he's away and I can't come with him because of work or something else, he would put one of his shirts on the bear so it'd feel like I'd cuddle him at night. It's not the same but it's better than sleeping next to nothing but a cold pillow.

I've prepared a special present for Ethan for today, well kind of. It took four and a half months for everything to be ready and I'm nervous he won't like it. But we've talked about this before so I guess he'll be happy about this surprise and hopefully not upset or anything.

*Grayson and Raina's life after 4 years, Grayson's P.O.V.*

Today's the day my life could change forever. Everything has to be perfect for Raina. I've planned this day for more than 3 months now, if anything goes wrong I'll probably freak out. I told Raina I had a little surprise for her and that she had to leave the apartment for the day so I had time to prepare. She probably thinks it's a romantic valentine's day dinner but it's actually a small party with only our closest friends and family. I flew her parents out to LA and my parents came to LA too. All 15 guests know what's actually going on, just Raina doesn't. So far it's going pretty well. I decorated the living room to make it look like a normal surprise party because we haven't seen our parents in a while and I know she missed her parents. But I also prepared the spare room upstairs, next to our bedroom. First, I put pictures of us on the wall. Starting with the first pictures of us, from our first dates and the first few weeks as a couple to the most recent ones, like those from our four year anniversary or just pictures of us cuddling, holding hands, doing all the cute things. The whole wall was full of pictures now and I decided to hang some pictures on a few balloons around the room, the ones Raina loves the most. There were 15 more balloons that I had to fill with helium so they won't sink. After that was done, I had to write a letter on each balloon so they would spell the most important thing of tonight. It was 6.30pm and everyone was here now, I told Raina to be here at 7. I turned off the lights at 6.55 so she wouldn't see everyone as soon as she came in. I heard a knock on the door and went to open it. Everyone stayed quiet in the living room.

"Hey babe. Ready?"

R: "Yeah of course!"

I covered her eyes with my hands and led her to the living room.

"I'll remove my hands now but you have to keep your eyes closed"

R: "Okay? You're kinda scaring me now"
