Chapter 12

Chapter 12 is here! Hope you'll enjoy it!

"... I'd love to be your girl soon. Don't worry about it, it's fine. Let's enjoy the breakfast and not think about anything serious right now"

E: "I'm really happy to hear that. You're right though, let's just chill. It's so quiet and peaceful up here, we should enjoy it"

With that, we ate our pancakes and drank our coffee, watching the waves beneath the hill.

E: "Do you want to lay down in the back of my truck? There are still blankets and pillows from Gray's and Raina's date. She told you, right?"

"Yeah, of course she did. She also told me what they did in there"

E: "What did they do to my car?!"

"Chill Ethan, they just made out in the back of your car. It's all good. Let's just get in the back of your car and nap a little, I'm kinda tired"

E: "Yeah me too. We could do what they did too though"

"I'd love to but I really need a nap first" I laughed, went to the back of Ethan's truck and cuddled up in a blanket with lots of pillows. A few seconds later, Ethan joined me. He just put the leftover breakfast in the backseat of his car and cuddled up beside me. A few minutes later I fell asleep with Ethan's arms wrapped around me. After what felt like 5 minutes, I woke up by feeling Ethan move next to me. I decided to open my eyes and see what he's up to. But all I saw was him staring at me.

"Why are you looking at me like that? That's creepy" I laughed.

E: "I don't know, you're just so beautiful"

"That was the cheesiest thing you've said so far. Anyways, what time is it?"

E: "It's almost 1pm, why?"

"Oh really? It sure doesn't feel like I've slept for hours now, I'm still so tired"

E: "Do you wanna sleep some more?"

"Not really, you?"

E: "Not really either, do you wanna go home?"

"If you want we can hang out now instead of later"

E: "Or now and later"

"Sooner or later I'll annoy you, are you sure you want to hang out with me that much?" I said laughing but he looked at me with a serious expression on his face.

E: "Why would you think that? You're funny, smart, beautiful inside and out, goofy, adventurous like me and I just love being around you. I can assure you that I'll never be annoyed or anything by you, if I could I would be around you all the time"

I was surprised and overwhelmed by his words. They might seem normal to everyone but to me they meant the world. I've always felt annoying, ugly, unwanted and all the bad things. But his words made me feel good, about my life, my personality, myself. I feel like I can be myself around him, I didn't have to hold back my real self anymore. I didn't know how to respond so I just kissed him and put all the emotions I felt at that moment into the kiss: Happiness, love, peace and everything else. I pulled back and Ethan looked at me with a confused, yet smiling face.

E: "What was that for?"

"I don't know, after all those things you said I felt so loved and happy that I decided to kiss you instead of respond" Now Ethan didn't respond and just kissed me again.

E: "Look, this might sound weird but I'd love to take you out on a date tonight instead of Friday, if that's okay. I don't wanna wait any more days, even though it's just 3."

"It's not weird, let's go out tonight. Why wait?"

E: "Do you want me to take you home now then?"

"Yeah, I look like absolute garbage. I need a shower before I can go on a date"

E: "I still think you look absolutely beautiful but I'll take you home if you're more comfortable after taking a shower first"

"Thank you but I'd prefer going home and making myself look like I didn't stay up all night"

E: "Let's go then"

Ethan and I hopped out of the back of his truck, went to the front seat and he drove us home. The car ride was fun as always, we were listening to some music, having a good time together. Being happy around him was so easy. We arrived at my apartment after about an hour and I kissed him goodbye as I always did since that night on the beach.

I went inside but Raina wasn't there. I texted her to see where she was.

*To: Raina*

2:39pm "Hey I'm home now, where are you?"

2:45pm Raina: I'm outside with my BOYFRIEND ;) we just went to the beach, I'll tell you more about it later. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THOUGH?

2:47pm "I was with Ethan, we just stayed on that little hill and fell asleep in the back of his truck until like 1pm and I just got home to get ready for a date with him"

2:49pm Raina: Aww you two are so cute :') Don't have too much fun ;)

2:52pm "Oh shut up and annoy your boyfriend :D"

Raina didn't text back anymore so I guess she did the exact same thing I told her to. I went to the bathroom to get in the shower but before I did that, I realized that Ethan didn't tell me any time he'd pick me up at.

*To: Ethan*

3:11pm "I know I just left the car with you but I'm not trying to annoy you here haha, just wanted to know what time you're going to pick me up"

3: 15pm Ethan: It's a surprise, wear something really comfy ;)

3:17pm "okay??"

3:19pm Ethan: You'll like it, don't worry :)

I'm so confused right now. Why won't Ethan tell me where he'll take me, what time he's picking me up and why should I wear something really comfy? AND WHY THAT WINKY FACE? Guess I'll just take a shower and find out after, if I overthink everything now I'll be even more nervous. I wanted to take a bath instead now because I needed to relax and just think about nothing for a bit. After like an hour and a half, I got out and thought I would just get ready now since I don't know when Ethan is going to be here. I decided to wear a dark red sweater and some leggings because Ethan told me to wear something really comfortable.

I sat on the couch, watching TV for an hour now and it's almost 7pm now. Ethan could come any time and I was nervous again. The door bell rang and I opened the door. Ethan was standing there with a red hoodie and some black sweatpants on. We accidentally matched and to be honest, I love this.

E: "You look gorgeous Luna"

"Thank you, you don't look too bad yourself. So, where are we going??"

E: "That's another surprise, come with me"
