Chapter 24

*4 months later*

Today was Raina and Grayson's wedding day. I was excited and nervous to be my best friend's maid of honor. Raina chose a beautiful grey/purple dress for me and I matched Ethan's suit and Skylar's clothes with it. Ethan had a purple tie and Skylar wore a cute purple shirt with grey pants and a grey jacket. This is all I ever wanted to be honest. A cute family with the perfect guy.

I left Skylar with Ethan and Gray because I had to help Raina choose her jewelry and put on her dress. She got her make up and hair done by a professional stylist and was ready to get married. The ceremony would start in about 20 minutes.

"Are you ready to get married?"

R: "I am and I hope Gray is too. Maybe he changed his mind.."

"Are you scared he doesn't want to marry you?"

R: "Kinda.."

"Listen to me. Grayson Bailey Dolan loves you, Raina Faythe James, soon to be Dolan. Don't ever doubt that for a second. The way he's looking at you is like he's looking at his entire world, his love, life and happiness. Do you want me to go to their room and see if everything is alright over there?"

R: "No. I trust Grayson. He would've told me if anything was wrong"

*Gray's P.O.V.*

I'm freaking out right now. I wanted everything to be perfect. But now, I'm marrying the love of my life in 15 minutes and the person who was supposed to play the piano during the ceremony didn't show up yet.

"WHERE IS HE?!"

E: "G calm down, I'm sure he'll show up before the wedding starts. You're overreacting"

"If he's late, he won't get ANY money from me-"

The door opened and our dad came in. Our parents are supposed to take Skylar during the ceremony because Ethan will stand next to me as my best man and Luna will stand next to Raina as her maid of honor.

Dad: "Are you ready to get married?"

"No because the fucki-"

E: "Gray! Watch your language in front of Sky"

"Sorry. Well, no. I'm not ready because the NICE person who's going to play the piano isn't here yet"

D: "He's been here for about 10 minutes"

"Oh.. Really?"

D: "Yeah"

E: "See, I told you. You were overreacting"

"I know. I'm just so nervous and excited" I said with the biggest smile, moving around because I couldn't wait anymore.

"Let's go. I can't stay in this room anymore. It's time to go out there and get married!" My dad took Skylar and we went downstairs and outside. Ethan and I went down the aisle to the front, where I was waiting for my bride to arrive. My parents sat in the first row with sleeping 4 month old Sky. I hope I get to experience this with Raina too. She told me that she wanted to have at least two kids and I always wanted a family with her too. From the moment that I drove her home after our first date, I knew that she was the one. While I was talking to Ethan, the music started playing. It was the right choice to have someone to play the piano. It's way more romantic and beautiful than the boring wedding music everyone knows. My hands were cold and my heart was beating fast. I looked down and when I looked back up, Raina was standing there next to her dad at the other end of the aisle in a beautiful white and tight dress that was making her body look amazing. Raina usually doesn't wear tight clothes because she thinks she's too fat or any other bullshit like that. But now she has to realize how gorgeous she is. I can't believe she's going to be my wife. The love and happiness Raina brought into my life is indescribable. She was now in front of me and I started tearing up while the priest was talking.

Priest: "Now it's time for your vows"

We looked at each other and I told Raina to go first.

R: "Grayson. Before I met you, I didn't know what it was like to be in love. I didn't know what love was. Everyone told me being in love was hard. But when I met you, I found out how wrong they were. Being in love with you came natural. Like breathing. You made me view the world in a different way. Instead of just seeing one star, I now saw a whole galaxy. Yes, we have our moments where we disagree and argue and get under each other's skin. But that's healthy. And we always make up after. Grayson, I love you and I can't see myself ever being with anyone but you. I want you to be the father of my children. I want to wake up every day and see your face. I want to go on adventures with you. I want to grow old with you. My vow is to always be your wife. Your girl. I will always be by your side, no matter what. My heart will forever be yours Grayson Bailey Dolan." At this point, Raina and I were both crying happy tears and even though I struggled to speak, it was my turn now.

"Raina. You are my other half. You are the one that makes me laugh when I'm sad, makes me consider when I want to be rash, and finds me when I am lost. You are my guide, teacher, and one true love. I know I will not always be what you want me to be. I might forget to listen or forget to share. I might not always agree. I might be stubborn and I might be wrongheaded, but I will always love you. I will always strive to be the man you believe I can be. I love you not only for what you are, but for what you make me - the best possible man I can be. Without you I am in darkness and with you I see only light. You are my true love. I promise to be your faithful husband. I promise to love you when the sun shines, when the rain falls, in sickness, and in health. When you look at this ring, think of me and remember that I love you always. You are my best friend, as I give myself in marriage to you I promise to inspire you and to let you inspire me, not to hold back or to hold us back. To comfort you in times of sadness, to always love you, even when love is difficult or when love seems too easy. I give you myself today and all the days of my life." We exchanged our rings.

P: "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride"

I kissed my beautiful wife and everyone started cheering and clapping. Some people were even crying, like my mom and Raina's mom. None of them will admit it, but our dad's cried too.

*at the party*

Everyone was in the best mood. After we were done eating, almost all our guests went to the dance floor. It was time for mine and Raina's first dance. We practiced a romantic and slow dance.

"I love you my wife"

R: "I love you my husband"

As soon as we finished dancing, Raina went on stage where a small band was performing a few songs.

R: "I need everyone's attention for a second please!" Everything went quiet. What's going on? She never told me she was going to do this.

R: "Thank you. Grayson. I love you, you know that. But I kept a secret from you. Those past 2 and a half months, I didn't go to the gym like I told you. I'm sorry but... I was seeing someone else. A doctor, to be exact. Now that everyone's here, I'd like to tell you why. I'm happy and excited to tell you, my dear husband, that we'll be the parents of twins in about 6 months!" Everyone gasped and started cheering again, and of course some people cried as well.

"Oh MY GOD!" I can't believe this! I'm going to be a dad! And we're having twins! I ran up to Raina, lifting her up and hugging her tight.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"

R: "I am. You're not mad at me for lying to you? I wanted to tell you about it but thought I'd wait until our wedding day to surprise you and everyone else"

"Of course I'm not mad! I'm so happy about this! I didn't think today could get any better but it just did. I love you so much Mrs. Dolan"

R: "I love you more Mr. Dolan"
