Chapter 7

Chapter 7 is here, hope you enjoy :)

*still Ethan's P.O.V.*

... gorgeous. I have never seen someone this beautiful. Pull yourself together Ethan, you can do this. She's just an extremely beautiful girl. Breathe in and out. Raina greeted Gray and me with a hug and then it was Luna's turn, she also hugged both of us. She smells like vanilla and raspberry, I love it.

"H-Hey, how are you?"

Oh shit, what's wrong with me, I can't be shy right now.

L: "I'm good what about you?"

"Me too, it's a beautiful day today"

L: "Yeah and the park's really nice too, I like it"

"It's one of my favorite parks"

We sat down on the blanket and had some food and drinks while having a fun conversation. I kinda didn't know what to say though because Gray was all over Raina and it was basically just Luna or me talking 90% of the time. I'm not mad at that though, I really like listening to Luna. Her voice is so soft, it's really calming. We've talked for a bit until Gray and Raina decided to go for a walk and I was left alone with Luna. I really didn't mind but I was scared it'd be awkward. But it wasn't, Luna and I just kept talking  and the more I got to know her, the more I liked her.  After a while we decided to lay down on the blanket because it'd be more comfortable. Luna and I kept talking about everything, I got to know her really well. I received a text from Gray about an hour after he left with Raina.

5:43pm Grayson: Hey bro, Raina and I went to the beach, sorry we left the two of you alone with all the picnic stuff but I'm sure you don't mind ;)

5:45pm "Nah it's alright, we're having a good time"

I turned to Luna to tell her what Gray texted me but at the same time she turned her head too and our faces were only inches apart. We stayed like that for a few seconds until I cleared my throat and finally said something, well I actually almost whispered.

"I umm just wanted to tell you that Grayson and Raina went to the beach"

L: "Oh o-okay that's fine. I hope they're having fun. I know they really like each other."

"Yeah, Gray told me. He's so annoying, all he does is talk about Raina"

L: "I know, Raina keeps talking about him too."

It was a bit awkward at first after that small incident with our faces being so close but it was back to normal real quick, even though something inside me wanted to kiss her so bad. We both laughed and I have to admit, her laugh is addicting. It's so full of love and happiness. Since Raina and Gray won't be back for the next few hours, Luna and I decided to leave too.

"Why don't we go somewhere else, it was so much fun with you I don't want it to end already."

Woah, where did that come from Ethan? When did I become kinda confident in front of girl?

L: "We could get some ice cream or frozen yogurt if you want"

"Sounds good. Let's just take the picnic stuff home first"

L: "Do you want me to drive you? I guess Gray and Raina took your car, not Raina's"

"Oh I completely forgot about that. If it's okay for you, that'd be really nice"

*Back to Luna's P.O.V.*

Alone in the same car with Ethan sounds way less scarier than it would've before the picnic. He's so nice, funny and just so handsome. Our conversation was so long and so much fun. I was really close to kissing him earlier, Ethan's lips were so close but I wasn't sure if he wanted to kiss me so I didn't do it and I was glad he started talking after that incident.

We went to the car and he put the picnic stuff in the backseat. First we drove to my place because Ethan said his place is closer to a good ice cream spot. He went inside with me and we dropped off the leftover food in the fridge.

"I'm going to change real quick, I'm kinda sick of wearing this dress. You can wait wherever you want, if you're thirsty or anything just grab something from the fridge. Make yourself at home"

E: "Alright, I will. Thank you"

I went to the closet and picked out my favorite shirt with some black shorts. I hope Ethan will like this outfit, it's way more casual and comfy than the dress. After I was done changing I went to look for Ethan, he was just sitting on the couch with a bottle of water.

"Are you ready to go?" I asked him.

E: "Y-Yeah sure let's go. I like your shirt"

"Thanks, it's my favorite"

E: "It sure deserves to be your favorite"

I laughed and put on some Vans. We went back to the car and drove off to Ethan's and Grayson's place. My curious self really wanted to know what their apartment looks like from the inside, if it's as nice as I think it is or if you can see that there are two teenage boys living in it. It was a 10 minute drive and when we arrived, Ethan took the leftover food they brought, I took the blanket and we went inside. Ethan said he wanted to change too, even though I think he looked damn good in that shirt. He told me I should just sit down on the couch or anything, he'd be right back. I decided to go on the balcony because it had a pretty nice view and the sun was slowly going down so it was really beautiful outside. Suddenly Ethan appeared next to me, which scared me for a second. We looked at the sky but I kept looking over to him without him noticing, but he did the same and at one point we accidentally looked each other deep in the eyes.

E: "D-Do you wanna go g-get ice cream now?"

"Why don't we stay a little longer out here and watch the sunset?"

I don't know why I said it, it was more of a whisper though because we were so close. I didn't want this moment to end and I also still wanted to kiss him. I just waited for him to make a move because I wasn't sure if he wanted it too. We sat down in the chairs behind us and we were still really close to each other. I liked the feeling of being close to him, it made me feel good. I decided to rest my head on Ethan's shoulder because I wanted to be closer to him. I think he was surprised for a second but then rested his head on mine as well.

"Thank you for a great time at the park"

E: "I had a great time too, you're as amazing as I thought from what Gray told me"

"Oh haha thank you, you're not so bad yourself"

It was dark outside now, I had no idea what time it was or how long we've been sitting here like that. I looked at my phone and it was 9:17pm already. We barely talked while sitting there but it was such a calm and comfortable silence, I think I'm starting to really like him..

E: "It's a little late for ice cream now, why don't we go get some dinner?" He smiled down at me.

"Of course why not" I smiled back at him.

I wonder how this night is going to end..
